Excellent! OK, now I'm going to make a LOT of Dropbox download links (48 to be precise) and hook them to the buttons. After that I think it's all done. Yay :D

Why is it not transparent? You were able to make it transparent on the logos, right?

Oh, so you do have a full version of that Rayman image! That's great! It really would be better if it were transparent though... can you make the background transparent?

Wait, that Rayman isn't the same as this one:

How do you make those different positions? Do you have separate body parts that you put together to form Rayman?

The download buttons are done. Tomorrow (well, today...) I'm going to find a web host.

I used the Rayman Origins sprites, ripped by Drolpiraat.
I am going to make the image transparent.
Also, tell me what is wrong with Rayman's pose in this image.I don't see any difference, except that his "body" is a bit bigger and his feet are in other pose.

Well, his body is a bit too large. Also, Rayman's body is not usually square, so when you place a square body there it can look like he has a hunchback... in some poses it's easier to see than in others; in this one in particular it's very noticable:

Image

His feet are tilted by 90 degrees... I think that's a bit too much, because his feet are now in an unnatural position. Have you ever seen Rayman in that pose while playing Origins? I don't think I have... I mean, if you want to try your hand at a more action-packed pose it helps if it's not an impossible pose XD

Finally, his hands, feet and hair are cut off at the edge of the logo.

In that case, RT would have to contact Hunch and ask him if he can add RT's page to the affiliates. I did that for my walkthroughs. ;)

A little earlier, and it could have come in great use for the photography contest, however, despite that, I'm sure this facility will be one that has uses to many.

Ah, thank you for the tip. :) I just sent him a message.

Yes, I realised it while making all those screenshots. Oh well, at least we're now all prepared for the next contest!

Excellent - with this, I could do just the Funkyboard levels. Very maybily we could find a way to sequence the save files so you can have a 'Funkyboard Minigame' in which you do all the Funkyboard levels from start to finish.

Yeah, the Funkyboard levels were always annoying to reach, being located at the very end of their worlds. They're also a lot of fun! :)

Before I created RaySaves I was messing around with Cheat Engine, trying to get the game to load specific areas. It didn't work though - the game kept crashing.
I then tried to modify the savegames but they're encrypted :/

Interestingly, while I was in Cheat Engine I saw some comments at certain points in the disassembled code. At one point, I saw these comments:

[demo000.sav]
[intro_10]
[knaar_10]

I think this might have been the place where new areas were loaded. I didn't see any other area codes though.
The demo000.sav one is also strange...

Maybe the savegame location for a Rayman 3 demo game (like you had demos of Rayman 2 which were packed with I think Tonic Trouble, for example) is still in the game somewhere. Maybe it's the location for the game on the introscreen.

^ Dat sig... wtf is wrong with you?

The game seems to be using .lvl and .ptr files for areas... I don't think I've seen .sav files being used except for, well, savegames.

Wait.

Let's say you have 2 folders, such as intro_10 and intro_15. Maybe if you replaced the .lvl and .ptr files in 15 by those found in 10, you could play the intro_10 map twice.

If that works one could set the first area of Clearleaf Forest to "Teensie Highway 2", and the area after that to "Teensie Highway 3", and you'd have all three Funkyboard levels chained together! :D

EDIT: Lol Shroob, I just found this: http://shrooblord.webs.com/

Great! Imagine making a Boss-a-thon folder for people who want to chain bossfights!

Ahah that old thing. I've been meaning to do something with that for some time now, but I've kept it up purely for nostalgic reasons. I'll transform it when I need it again. Until then, it's just ghosting there.

Okay... it took me YEARS to realise that, in the Fairy Council's second stage, when you walk up to the "kissing" turtles (the ones that have hearts floating next to them), one of them flinches/bounces up a bit, as if shocked/scared, then clumsily walks in place, while the hearts disappear. Then when you go away they go back to their lovey-dovey stuff.

And I wasn't even playing the game, it was my younger bro. Apparently you only notice details when you aren't paying attention, ahahah. (that last sentence wasn't serious)

I'm curious in seeing the differences in the PS2 and the Gamecube version (aside from the racing mini game). I had first played the PC version, but I have to say, the PS2 version is gorgeous! I was playing Razoff's mansion the other day and I showed Hoodcom a screenshot of an area that had this bloom effect which I don't recall, was in the PC version. I would like to try the GC version as well. Anyone played the HD port yet? Sorry if somebody posted this earlier....too lazy to read ^-^'
