Re: Rayman Legends
The addition of Ezio was ridiculous, but let's face it, it increased the hype for some people. However, I don't think there will be anything involving Ezio. If I remember, developers themselves confirmed that Ezio's toy was just a joke. In the other hand... there's actual footage of the rabbids. I don't know... somehow, I want the NFC functionality back, I still want to know what the Globox toy is supposed to do.

Re: Rayman Legends
I know it's a toy from Mc Donald's, Ezio's toy is the official toy from Assassin's Creed, and the Rabbid toy is just part of the rabbids merchandise. However, I'm completely aware that the concept and the ideas were there. That's why I'm asking. Probably the toys would have been presented in a completely different size and shape, and probably with a small base included, pretty similar to the Pokemon Rumble U toys. It's still an idea that could work perfectly on Wii U for both collecting purposes and additional nfc-based dlc.Haruka wrote:https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Rayman_merchandisesergiomonty wrote:I still want to know what the Globox toy is supposed to do.
Re: Rayman Legends
Ah I see now. Well, we don't know the details. Perhaps it would be to activate handicap items and to be able to play with a character like in Skylanders.

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh god, the idea of handicap hearts sucked so bad. The idea involving additional levels was decent.... but making you invincible just because you have a toy of a heart is just lame.
Re: Rayman Legends
Ah, a Dojo level for the Daily Challenge of today! It is about time!

Re: Rayman Legends
I assume they placed the winners' region behind their username... why did they throw in an underscore there? It's so ugly...

I beat both your daily challenge scores Haruka.
I still can't get a platinum for the life of me though! What's your secret?

Re: Rayman Legends
Ok... I checked the Dojo.
All I can say is... it's amazing.
It's just very different to the rest of the challenges. So far, every challenge has it's highlight... The Land of the Livid Dead focuses on running, The Infinite Tower focuses on wall running and wall jumping, The Neverending Pit proves your skills with the helicopter and teaches you when to use it properly, and Murfy's Dungeon teaches teamwork. The Dojo seems like the result of all that training... and it's kind of weird.
Instead of a level, they throw you into a room, where you must complete a task the fastest way possible. Then you disappear and go to the next room, where you must complete the next task. It takes approach of all of your abilities, including the charged fist, which was never used for anything important in Rayman Origins.
This challenge required you to score as many lums as possible. Your objetives are surrounded by 5 lums, that will slowly turn into 4, 3, 2 and 1 if you don't grab/hit them quickly. Those lums surround jars that you must break in order to complete a room, bubbles that you must pop, or even dragon enemies that you must kill. Obviously, the best way to beat the level is by completing the tasks as fast as possible to get the 5 additional lums. The rooms are small and won't take you more than 5 seconds to beat, so they're basically minigames.
It's a cool challenge, and a refreshing idea. Also the countdown at the beginning is completely different (with a more oriental feel and without the crazy guy yelling THREE TWO ONE GO), and the music is very cool. I approve.

I sometimes used that if an enemy was for example standing on a nenuphar that I couldn't be arsed to jump on. It's longer-range.sergiomonty wrote:which was never used for anything important in Rayman Origins.
Good to hear about the Dojo, sounds like the app is fun and the Dojo is fun and ya'll mothafuckas are having fun.

Things go a lot faster and easier when you simply state what your trying to say rather then turning it into some sort of guessing game.Rulez wrote:*audible sigh*

Re: Rayman Legends
Hey, Haruka, why not post a link to your channel every time you announce some videos? I'm sure a lot more people will view your stuff if you make it easier for them to find it.

Stop trying to sound smart. Both of the posts that annoyed me are pretty straightforward.Keane wrote:Things go a lot faster and easier when you simply state what your trying to say rather then turning it into some sort of guessing game.Rulez wrote:*audible sigh*
