Go Anouk!! :D

I wonder - I'm not too familiar with how Eurovision works - does everyone keep repeating the same performance throughout the rounds?

Err, they all perform once in the semifinals and if a country is qualified for the finals, it performs again once. There are no rounds.

It's actually a singing/performing contest. And I care, because I like her music and this particular song.

I don't even follow my own city's hockey team, and hockey is double to Canada what soccer is to Brazil. Really, people will basically spit on you here if you claim to not know what's going on in the world of ice-sports. This is evident by the 2011 Vancouver Riots, you know, that thing that was way more devastating and destructive than the London Riots and happened a month before, yet no one paid attention to in favour of the freaking London Riots.

Why so many people religiously watch football is beyond me. Perhaps it used to be better, but these days it's just 90 minutes of nothing ever happening.

Meh, Football (Soccer to some, I believe) is quite a big thing here too, I've never held an interest in it, but I certainly can't go by one day without seeing or hearing somethng football related.

And I can't go about an hour without hearing hockey-related things. Be it everyone clogging up Facebook with sports news or the constant jabber of it on TV regardless of the off-season, it will not halt. I swear, at some point it's going to drive me absolutely mad.

About a month ago near where I live, Newcastle United lost the derby against Sunderland and these middle aged skin head scum started rioting in town and punching horses and tipping over bins, it was vile. Football "culture" in England fucking sucks in my opinion.

Football can be boring if neither team is willing to take any risks, but if this was always the case then it wouldn't be so popular.

Ninty did make mention of an announcement to do with Retro's project in the not-so-distant future, could its time be upon us?
