Hey! My good buddy Sam T. Made that animation, I still talk with him sometimes, very nice fellow. I love his Taco-Man series the most though.Shrooblord wrote:

Oh you know the creator? I've been a fan of his Incredibly Messed Up Bible Stories ever since the existance of Episode 5 - I think around that time. His Taco-Men are pretty funny too. I used to watch the GAME MASTER !! series, but for some reason grew a little tired of ol' Taco-Man... :/

Yep I know him, I added him on facebook and skyped with him, he's a very nice and willing person and talks to fans on occasions. I love his Taco-man series, and also his Snowy series which he ended.
Re: Funny movies... Lol!?
I finally watched Wreck It Ralph, along with Clara since she brought her own DVD. She decided to wait to visit me for we could watch together for the first time. It was a brilliant movie, it has been since years I don't see an enjoyable classical movie from Disney. [ I just got in shock to find out that King Candy and Turbo were the same person. What an ass he was.] The original characters are awesome too and I did like how they paid attention to details in the animations. [ Like the movement of Clyde and the characters from Fix It Felix game. ] Definitely a must buy when the Blu-Ray copy gets a price cut.

I loved that part. Never in recent memory have I been so caught off guard by such a simple twist. It was executed perfectly.Haruka wrote:I[ I just got in shock to find out that King Candy and Turbo were the same person. What an ass he was.]

I'm thinking of purchasing the movie off PSN! It's a great movie, but like I said weren't too fond of nearly the whole movie taking place in Sugar Rush, it's a nice place, but I wish we could have seen more cameos, the Street fighter cameos just had me fangasming (Interesting word, aye? XD) all over the freaking theatre

Re: Funny movies... Lol!?
Personally, though I agree with the whole Sugar Rush excess, I'm glad they didn't go over-the-top with the video game cameos, it was nice that they were included to establish the world of Wreck-it Ralph to be more genuine, but I'm glad they decided to focus more on the main story and its characters and less on fanservice, no offense to those who enjoy them.
I'll admit, I did enjoy the Konami code reference, those little cameos can make one feel rather special when they're the only one to get it.
I also didn't see the [Candy King/Turbo] thing coming, it was rather slickly done, and it certainly caught me off guard.

Re: Funny movies... Lol!?
I can easily admit as a huge retrogamer I do think making cameos every second of the movie would get a bit ridiculous, what I'm saying is I don't like how the movie took place in Sugar Rush for most of the movie, Hero's duty was freaking awesome but WAY too short. Plus I think the cameos were actually very short as well- I wouldn't like a LOT Of them- but I would like to see more use in them. I was happy to see Sonic of all the characters actually played a decently big role for a cameo out of all the other characters.
I'm glad someone made a video for it:
I'm hoping to see a Wreck-it Ralph 2 though, I think Wreck-It Ralph just could have done a lot more personally, still a great movie.
When I get the DVD, you'll see me pausing the movie a lot just to see all the cameos and see how much I can identify.
And the whole thing with Turbo was indeed well executed.

It'd be interesting to see if a Wreck-it Ralph saga was made that encompassed the history of gaming, the first focused mostly on Arcade, why not move on and show early-gen consoles?

I'd personally like to see some of the cameo characters actually play big roles in the story, not CONSTANT CAMEOS every 5 seconds, just particularly a few developing into the story, I still think Ryu from Street Fighter, and maybe Sonic would develop into the story greatly.

Perhaps, but not to an excessive degree, I'm all for meaningful cameos, but not in a way that could oust the main characters from the spotlight.

Re: Funny movies... Lol!?
Of course, my point is just I wish those small Street Fighter Cameos (despite being a TON of hidden ones) played a bigger role, I would love to see Zangief pull his famous piledriver on somebody or something overall like that, Sonic clearly to my surprise was actually very fitting for a very short cameo, I was hoping to see more of him as well.
Re: Funny movies... Lol!?
I admit the first time I saw Sugar Rush, I got a little concerned. I was finding it too pink, girly... But the plot started to get more interesting some minutes later so I got relieved, but I also think the action passed too many time on it. It is probably the only weakness I can point. [I admit I felt pity for Venelopee at a point. She's a glitch, she's a glitch, she can't race. But why, for god's sake? She was even bullied by the others but it wasn't their fault since their memories were locked away.]Rayfist wrote:I'm thinking of purchasing the movie off PSN! I also liked other details in the movie:
[Start of invisible text]
- When the Felix's cake got in bits in the beginning of the movie, it was pixelized
- Felix's way of dying because of a block falling from the ceiling
- The way that Felix and his buddies were moving
- The Mushroom cameo, aswell the barman from Tapped looking like Mario, the NES controller
- How they decided to illustrate how game characters travel to other places/games and meet each other
- How a glitch was represented, with intermitent binary codes
- Felix trying to break the jail bars with his hammer, but they ended up way thicker
- The Oreo guards, oh god this part killed me
- The reference to Nesquik, Coca Cola and Mentos and the way they were used (Nesquik-sand! XD)
[End of invisible text]
I also watched Paperman before the movie. The mixture of 2D with 3D is really well made.

Meh, it's amusing to see how many people will actually fall for it.
Luckily, I'm much more wiser.
