Re: Rayman Legends
Rabbids just standing around is because this most likely wasn't the final version and nobody has played it to prove if they're just... there. I'm sure they would have fought back at least a little.

Re: Rayman Legends
If I recall correctly, this stuff was done prior to Montpelliers acquisition of a Dev kit, wasn't one of the reasons for the change was that they realised it wouldn't work with the Wii's control scheme?

Re: Rayman Legends
Actually... the rabbids just standing there was what turned them into appealing enemies...
they're just there...
staring at you...
coming closer and closer.
....like zombies. They were creepy. And really intimidating.
Now they're just silly.

Re: Rayman Legends
I personaly think zombie rabbids were far better in character and design. Everyone looked different. Smaller, bigger, different color. I wish rabbids stayed like that

Re: Rayman Legends
It was pretty cool, I can confirm that they were using the challenge app for their display but obviously they hadn't connected the WiiUs to the wifi...but that's OK because one of the Nintendo reps happened to be a Rayman fan who made a BIG RAYMAN PLUSHIE and she liked my Barbara cosplay so much she let me have pics taken with it!Master4lyf1 wrote:how was the convention?
Oh and Rayfist we've been covering footage of the games at MCM all weekend so keep an eye out.

Nifty plushie.
Ah well, no new news, but nice to hear you enjoyed your time there, what else did you see?

Re: Rayman Legends
They had Game and Wario there as well and it pretty much confirmed a little theory of mine - once a Warioware game appears on a new Nintendo console, you are sold. The challenge app will be long gone by the time I get a WiiU but definitely getting Game and Wario with it.

I am glad you had a great time Cairnie

You cannot curl on hard cold plastic. My priority is a Rayman Plush!

Re: Rayman Legends
I can't I have no right to do so, they'll be posting pics and video coverage on youtube soon like last year's expo I'm sure :p
Re: Rayman Legends
Well, in that case, I understand. Didn't know it was facebook only. I know that I myself no longer add many people on FB due to privacy reasons and I even hardly use it. I always found skype and youtube alot better for messaging and talking. I just wished YouTube had live chat option.Rayfist wrote:I can't I have no permission, they'll be posting pics and video coverage on youtube soon like last year's expo I'm sure :p

Re: Rayman Legends
this is the last post i will make, yet i felt it was very important. on the 20,000 lums under the sea trailer, at the scene at 0:42 on the trailer, if you look at the door, it has a black slime with an eyeball in it. the same ones that where used in rayman origins as a door for the next room in nearly every level. it was simply a notifier that they will apparently be returning.

Re: Rayman Legends
Ugh... yes... it seems like they're using those again.... Which is weird because the engine is supposed to be improved and be able to run an entire level without divisions, taking Toad Story as an example of that.

I sadly missed todays challenges due to my brother not letting me use the TV, at least me and Adsolution had a good skype chat.
