What if an actual person wanted a username like 696shit6f or 000FART0Z?
That's why I said "warning flag" and not "instaban". It would only alert the mods so they could check out what kind of posts the user makes and so we don't have to find them manually by community reports.

'Came' and 'come' are pseudonyms for splooging. Though, while it's normally just a summoning verb: "Come here!", if used without a preposition afterward to define it, it's often perceived as a sexual innuendo.

Our registration process already includes a captcha, however none of the visual confirmation systems we've used have proven of any use so far, whether reCAPTCHA, Q&A, or any other. We're already using an advanced protection system that runs upon a user's registration and checks their information against an online spammer database, and given the huge wave we've just had to face I lowered the spammer detection threshold, which should drastically reduce their presence here. If it doesn't help, I'll reduce it again, and if it's still not enough, I'll look into an additional solution. Despite not being a huge community, and actually a rather well protected place, we are heavily targeted by spammers who seem to see us as a choice cut. At least they have good taste!
Also, I would like to remind everyone to ignore spambots: replying to their messages or commenting on them only makes the deletion task harder. Thank you for your understanding!

How about a question in the registration process that asks who the founder of RaymanPC is?

First, that wouldn't change anything because as usual, a human would visit the site after noticing that his bots don't know the answer to the question anymore and re-configure them to break through, and second, how on Earth would a newcomer know about it? That would probably discourage real users more than it would repel bots.

Well, first one, good point. Second, well, I figured it was easy because of your thread here. :)

That list must have taken a painstakingly long time to make. Nice! Here are a couple more:

carteyroeeo
enedocoortelp

I wonder if bots will ever start invading out private-messages. That would suck.

Isn't that "compliment"? In Polish it's actually komplement (complement), and that makes me confused.
