The difference between Rayman 3 and Mario Galaxy and Sonic Colours is that these games look appealing and awesome. I mean, I think Colours is not an amazing game, but it's definitely eye catching and I can see why people would wanna buy it. This game, however... what the fucking shit is this? Pac-Man is in... Generic Future City? Going around munching on shit that looks like it has horrible controls to come with it. Environment is empty and ugly and not appealing and bad... agh. That music is so fucking bland. A childhood nuke being dropped on Pac-Man World. Guess a decent game should be expected from the developers that also made that Mario Party rip-off. If anyone really wants to play Pac-Man just get the collection games for 3DS & GBA, or the World Championship game... or World... just... just...

Adsolution wrote:One thing I never understood is the notion of 'ruining a childhood,' a term that OCG consistently uses. Your childhood doesn't change, it's exactly how it was when it happened (or how you remember it) and always will be. If a dumb new cartoon or game can tamper with your memories, I fear for you.
Of course it does not tamper with my memories, but I hate seeing something I liked and enjoyed in childhood getting turned into something terrible.

I'm not going to say childhood ruined, but I hope you understand Ad why this game is hated to death.
I loved the Pac-man world series and this just looks really bad. I may not go as far as calling it horrible but certainly bad. I liked the Pac-Man world series, and just the simple yet effective concept of them, it took a different approach than the maze games of Pac-man and went for an adventure type feel, this surprisingly succeeded. Ghostly Adventures only looks like a really hideous attempt at making Pac-Man more modern and more of a 'likeable' guy. I can't attach to that annoying voice in the slightest.

I would rather listen Mega Man's voice from Mega Man 8 American Version.

I actually fucking LOVED Megaman 8, why did so many people hate it? It was the first in the normal series for so many to hate- the animatied cutscenes at the beginning were great as well. The thing I dislike about Megaman 9 and 10 is how it went back to the 8 bit style, I love retro games, you all probably know that by now- but why? With the technology we have now- how about a 2.5d game with some modern elements mixed in, I don't mind this but I don't see the need for them to do that in all honesty.

I think Megaman X is the best series, still have not played Legends (wish it weren't so rare), Battle Network, ehhh, it's good but not too into the RPG element, still good though.

Not to break in or anything, but I'm curious as to why Megaman is nicknamed "The Blue Bomber," I've always thought he was more of a blue shooter.

Blue Bomber is a bit silly, though I like it for some reason.

I also like Mega Man X best, Legends is good, I recommand it, I disliked Battle Network more then English voices of Mega Man 8. I suggest Star Force. Now thats good Mega Man RPG.

Yes, I'm very interested in Star Force, never played it but want to. Capcom is kind of forgetting MegaMan these days, cancelling the epic conclusion to the legends series wasn't a smart move :/
I heard Megaman Legends 2 for the ps1 is quite damn rare as well.

I believe it does, I guess there's yet another compelling argument for modding it.

No it does not. I can confirm it myself, Sony confirmed it, and wikipedia confirms it. There is only one game form all games ever made that is region locked on PSP. Same for PS3. Every Sony product after PS2 was more-less Region Free.

Sadly, PSP versions were cancelled for US release, and Capcom never puts English Subtitles. Sega is best when it comes to globalizing games because all versions from all countries have all languages and subtitles.

It isn't? Wow, I was under the illusion that there was some form of Region-locking, you have my thanks for clearing that up.
It seems the One Channel hasn't been enforced, yet the countdown has ended, wonder what's going on there.

It will probably happened in 2 or 3 days. Thats what happened to me last time change was forced.

I'm still waiting for the Playstation Vita to get Crash and Spyro for the PS1 classics section on the Vita :( Getting annoyed by waiting.
