It requires less movement than a controller. I can literally have my palm resting on my armrest, my finger being the only thing raised, barely moving an inch back and forth. What do I need to make anyone understand this? I'm not speaking Swahili am I?

Re: Off Topic
You seem to be talking about turning the XboxOne on? That's fine. That's your preference, and my preference is to use a controller when playing games, especially those I want to have good controls with. This comes with experience, like the WiiMote.
Although to turn it ON, I don't mind using just my finger. I just don't want to pay lotsa money to be able to do that.

Re: Off Topic
Would this perhaps work if I was laying under a blanket under my couch while navigating through the menu? I know it depends how it's positioned but just curious, I've used our kinect once or twice, been considering selling it, it doesn't interest me, I played Steel Batallion hoping CAPCOM would at least know how to work the thing, apparently not

When did I say that? I was talking about interface navigation.neo wrote:You seem to be talking about turning the XboxOne on?
At this point, I wouldn't suggest basing the quality of the product off of games that try to make major use of it. No developer seems to know or understand how to properly utilise it as a controller in a game, so they're all bound to be mediocre at the very best. Kinect is a phenomenal piece of hardware that works better than you can imagine, but to date, virtually nothing on the 360 has shown off what it's really capable of yet.Rayfist wrote:Would this perhaps work if I was laying under a blanket under my couch while navigating through the menu? Re: Off Topic
I'm only basing the quality on it off the games because that's the reason why Brian (and me a bit) bought a Kinect, eh, I think I'm going to sell it anyways, we've used it once or twice. Though even though I do agree the navigation with Kinect is actually pretty damn good, it never amazed me, despite the fact it was good.
Re: Off Topic
Sorry for skimming then. That's fine too. But for actual gameplay I still prefer a controller. Everything else it's cool.Adsolution wrote:When did I say that? I was talking about interface navigation.neo wrote:You seem to be talking about turning the XboxOne on?

No need to double post Neo, and yes indeed we are, the mods have it under control though when they get online, I'm sure :p
Re: Off Topic
I have no doubts about that.
Re: Off Topic
PS4 really interests me because Yoshida said that he wants alot of games to be platformers and not FPS's. Knack is a good example

Hunch is considering turning me into a new mod. Needs a replacement for Spiraldoor. Poor old dog deserves his pension.
