Re: Rayman 2
Wasn't it a small section of the Fairy Glade? I've played it too.
Re: Rayman 2
Which demo version? PC or PS1? I played both so those can be found in my channel.

Re: Rayman 2
Has anyone ever had a problem where their Dreamcast version of the game seems very darkly lit? Often, more occluded areas that in most other versions would simply appear shaded are almost completely black here. Even when I turn the luminosity all the way up, the dark patches still remain dark.

Re: Rayman 2
Here, I recorded a video of the blackness problem:
Pay attention especially to the second half during the outdoor portion of the Echoing Caves, that's where it gets really bad.

Re: Rayman 2
Where's the KKK when you need them
Re: Rayman 2
@Ad Now that's a really wierd shading. Rayman gets dark/lightned up from all sudden when you go to certain coordinates.
Re: Rayman 2
I think it has to do with Dreamcast Output. Have you tried different AV cable, maybe some adapters, SCART?
Re: Rayman 2
Ad's problem is kinda like mine, except I'm having that problem with the PC version.
Re: Rayman 2
Then we know for sure it is not Game CD. I most likely has to do with output like I said.
Re: Rayman 2
It happens when I'm on my way to The Cave of Bad Dreams, but it's so dark, I'll just fall into the water and die.
I actually managed to get past it, but it took some time. It also has happened on other levels, but I can't remember which ones...

Re: Rayman 2
So it is not on all levels?
Re: Rayman 2
It will happen on some levels, and on others, there are no problems.OldClLOLicGamer wrote:So it is not on all levels?
I could be mistaking, maybe it isn't a problem, maybe it's just the textures/shading.
Re: Rayman 2
Adjust game brightness?

Don't be so negative dude. Even if you don't do something good, always think high about yourself
