I don't care who's butchering who, whether it's Sony to Microsoft, Microsoft to Nintendo or Nintendo to Sony, it's childsplay and should not be cheered on. If you're going to laugh, laugh at the overwhelming stupidity of all parties involved, not by taking sides in this embarrassingly abhorrent circus. All of them, especially Microsoft and Sony, deserve to be dunked in a vat of acid.sergiomonty wrote:Sorry, I had to do it, it's just delicious. In my opinion, Microsoft deserves the kick in the nuts that it's getting. Heck, even they sent a guy to Best Buy so people trying the Wii U could "change their minds" over the console and it's crappy policies. How lame is that?

Re: E3 2013
Went to Best Buy, no bloody Nintendo demos, either they listed the wrong Best Buy in my state, or the Best Buy was like "lol, oops, we forgot to do it", or it was just over. Bit disappointed, I heard that there was going to be a demo for the new DKC too... Also a lack of more SSB news, hope the site gets regular updates like the Dojo sometime soon.

... but it's so fun!!!
Did I ever tell you that with that Voodoo Mama picture I read your arguments in a sassy woman's voice? it's quite an interesting experience.
Re: E3 2013
I don't think it's bad. It's them making Xbox look like assholes, and showing them how stupid their approach is. Others liking that and going "wow sony ripped them a new one" shows microsoft that the audience has clearly chosen sony, and shows that they were wrong. Obviously, they did something they thought was right. But it just wasn't. (That hasn't gotten through their thick skulls, and I wonder how much time will pass before they concede and take back the concerns, if at all)Adsolution wrote:Why is that good...?OldClassicGamer wrote:Sony seems to be trolling M$ hard. Good job I saySeriously, regardless of how much better the PS4 is looking than the XOne, that sort of thing is just retarded. It's kind of funny, but the last thing it deserves is a pat on the back.
Basically, I feel it was right of them to do that, to show what we all wanted to say, but even better. If Sony did something very stupid, and Microsoft trolled them and people liked what MS did, I wouldn't have a problem. They would be proving someone else wrong.
AND, it was awesome. Don't tell me this:
wasn't awesome.
Also I do think Sony can be assholes themselves but I am sure they can improve, so can Microsoft, and so can Nintendo. I hope for this. Especially with the Nintendo thing where all your games are tied to one system. That's dumb.

Being a jerk to other companies when they fuck up seems to be part of Sony's tradition. I mean, LOOK AT THIS:

^Here's to one of my favourite movies.

Again however, I don't see how competitors stooping to such low levels can in any light be recognised as good or game. It's literally the equivalent of watching two children fighting over who's right, and the one who may happen to be right that one time but is usually wrong now begins mocking the other one for being wrong, and then everyone starts cheering him on. Is that not pathetic?
---
And it also makes Sony looks like assholes, especially considering that they aren't spectators, they are the competition.neo wrote:I don't think it's bad. It's them making Xbox look like assholes, and showing them how stupid their approach is.
And I wouldn't have as much of a problem with this as I do now if Sony didn't actually happen to have a worse track record than Microsoft. If you're fully aware of the history and method of the respective companies, you'll realise that it's really quite a pathetic move on Sony's part.neo wrote:Others liking that and going "wow sony ripped them a new one" shows microsoft that the audience has clearly chosen sony, and shows that they were wrong. Re: E3 2013
I think Sony & Microsoft realised this time around that advertising trough a "console war" made up by 16 year olds with too much time on their hands is a better selling point then the products itself at this point. Looking at trailers or anything PS4 related I don't see anyone commenting on whether they actually think it's good hardware but instead that it's more important to them that it will sell better then something else. Although saying this is just the younger age groups isn't fair considering the growing amount of men in their 30's screaming at their camera's about how the graphical abilities of the 3DS is ruining their lives.
Were in an age where shitty games with good visuals get big sales and consoles are bashed for not loading quick enough. It's a shame.

There we go; and a sudden turn of events, Keane turns around from talking mostly jabber to creating one of the best posts in the thread. If anyone at Best Buy tries asking me if I am going to buy an Xbox One, I'll be honest.

It is not my fault I didn't watch the E3 of Xbox/EA either. At least it is better to know now than only when the game gets released.ikke471 wrote: Did you just find out about that now? (nothing wrong with that but you're a little late on the hype train)
