Complaining can come across as either giving critique or whining, also known as failing to give a remotely good criticism. You've just told us that if Barbara continues to show up, you will continue to complain about something very few people agree with you on. I don't mind if you say at one point that you don't like Barbara for whatever reason, but if you basically threaten Ubisoft by stating that you will 'complain' further if they release another title with Barbara in it, then that's crossing the line from having a personal dislike for the character to publicly announcing that she literally lessens the quality of the game itself. How so? If you simply disliked the character, that would not apply on a per-game basis.

There's nothing wrong with Barbara in the slightest all things considered, so if you have an irrational and shitty opinion that you can't back up with anything other than your own made up vision of how the Glade should be, then keep it to yourself or go rant about it on some cum rag like DeviantART.

Yeah, but that's not a good way to do things. Offending people is bad and shouldn't be done even if it's just on the Internet. People deserve their respect as much as you do. Not gonna give you an ethics lesson though, each person has his/her ways.
How is he offending people? Is there some line that defines what is offensive and what isn't? Intention and circumstance is all that really matters. Clearly he has no particular beef with any of the groups he's used as methods of insulting you, and as far as we know there's no one on this board who is currently in a temporarily emotionally fragile situation (and it's an uncommon case for people to be in that situation), so any occurrences of being offended are purely the fault of the reader. If someone here does happen to be in an 'emotionally fragile' situation, then we have no knowledge of that and therefore cannot be held responsible for any damage caused as a result.

I won't even answer. I no longer have interest, since it's more than clear that we simply have different ways of seeing things and this won't end unless someone stops it. I only meant to say that I don't want Barbara in longer games because I don't see her as an interesting character at all. End of story. Next.

If that's what you meant to say then why did you keep mentioning that you will complain in the future? All of this could have been avoided if you just thought a bit about how to convey what you wanted to say.

Logic is one-sided, there aren't multiple different ways of interpreting it. Your excuse is just a fallacy stemming from the overly-liberal belief that perspective is the master race and can be used as a counter attack to all 'stone cold' arguments.

That's not even remotely close to what you said at first. If you simply did word it incorrectly, then you appear to have 'accidentally' sided with the literal meaning of your 'incorrect wordings' afterwards as well, right up until now.

- Maybe I worded it wrong in the first place

- If your argument consisted of saying that our conflict is simply based upon a different point of view, then that's basically saying the opposite. Unless, that was worded wrongly as well.
- K.

I think we're pretty done here.

On an actual Rayman Legends-related topic for once, how many people are participating in the Challenges? I decided to join in last week, and so far I've gotten a Gold cup on every challenge, bar one Diamond cup and one Bronze. The Bronze was obviously from yesterday's Murfy's dungeon, I hate that world.

I think in total there's more than 170000 people participating in them. The problem of the Challenges is its very high repetitiveness, which does not motivate me anymore to play the app strictly everyday. I think most people here also started to only play it occasionally.

I'd imagine it's going to get that way eventually, but hey. It's been around for what, 4 months now? I'd say people got enough enjoyment out of it by now to justify Legends being delayed until the end of the year.

Still won't judge negatively the challenges app. It's meant to be a little part of the game, not an individual game. Now I see the risks of providing the app to Wii U owners.

It is repetitive, because it is meant to. It's a little entertainment outside of the main campaign and the Kung Foot game, but that's it. However, if the app managed to entertain me for more than a month, I must say it managed to have excellent replay value. At the end of the day, I think the team should add at least 3 new settings for the Challenges App, so half-assed reviewers don't use the challenges app as an excuse to not give the game a well deserved 10/10 (Ign didn't give Origins a 10 just because it didn't have online).

To Ad: Murfy's Dungeon is fun only when playing it with friends. Otherwise, you'll have a very boring time alone.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be more than just the challenge mode and Kung Foot to make up the online mode. We saw the Luchador survival one, and I'm holding out for a fighting mode.

Maybe they'll go Marjora's Mask on it and give it a 9.9/10 because it has "minor flaws" that they decide to simply not explain.

Ah yeah I dislike it when people do that. Apparently those flaws are minor enough not to be named, but major enough to have an impact on the final score.

The challenges app was amazing when it was launched. It obviously becomes repetitive later, but hey, stop playing it for a while, then play it again and you'll still have a fun game.

I think the fun part is trying to figure out which is the fastest way to complete a task. Also, racing against those ghosts is fucking intense.

^ This

I honestly think that Murfy's Dungeon and the Dojo are the best challenges of the app, but they have been the rarest too.

Hmm, I wonder if that's connected.

Unfortunately, I still lack the funds for a Wii U to participate. I feel like I'm really missing out. :(

This might be a shameless plug, but I've started commissions on my DA page so I can raise money for a Wii U, if anybody is interested.

I am missing a lot as well, but I understand why challenge app stayed exclusive to Wii U.

Good luck for that, I managed to get my PS3 years ago thanks to those. :)
