Pac-Man games that stick to the original formula. Championship and the two collection games are great fun.

Thing is, Pac could be a great mascot for Namco. I imagine he could be an appealing, popular character if they were willing to put effort into. OK, you got a character, now the rest. And that's what lacks. There's not really a unique or interesting world, well developed character etc. Even in the World games don't have environments that make the games stand out. Their just cool games a fan of platformers will enjoy, but it goes not further then that.

I also noticed Pac-Man never has a same villain. It is different one in every game.

Mr Sakurai won't add Pac-Man to the roster of Smash Bros. Trust me. He said that Namco-Bandai had no priority, even if they are co-developing the game. Also, there are many parameters involved. The character must have influenced in the history of Nintendo... AND, but be a possible transformation for Kirby. How can Kirby become Pac-Man? he can't become yellow, because of the recolors, and it's not like Pac-Man's weird eyebrows are that iconic.

I am actually glad, because if Pac-Man was in new SSB, it would be lame "kiddy" version of Pac-Man instead of one from World Series. At least, Capcom put right Mega Man design in SSB.

Well I can imagine the World design would have been one of his skins.

Well, if X can be Zero's skin in MVC3, It could work for Pac-Man. As for Kirby transformation, I can actually imagine that. Kirby changes his eyes to black pac-man shaped ones, and attack is throwing power pallets and pac-dots.

I still don't get what's so appealing about this:

It's like the Rabbids... it's a random sexual joke, but instead of funny, it's freaking awkward. Also, can you take a look at the stage and tell me that it looks more creative than the new Pac-Man game? Oh yeah... beautiful grey floor.

Kirby has black eyes already, and all of his transformations are costumes or hats. What you say is not enough.

World is, like I said, enjoyable if you like platformers, but I don't think anyone will place the games in their top 10. I do think the games have better visuals then the new pac-man so far, though.

But Kirby's eyes are not pac-shaped. I said they should turn in Pac-Man's eyes when he is transformed, and as for hat, He can have Pac-Man hat :P

He's being a nostalgia fag.

OCG, kid... you seem to be soooooooo in love with Pac-Man World, and you say that this new generation of Pac-Man ruined yours. What if I told you that YOUR ridiculous generation of Pac-Man "World" ruined MY generation of Pac-Man.

Nah, I don't really dislike Pac-Man World...I'm just saying, I don't know, it's just a franchise that shouldn't have evolved. The Championship games are AMAZING, but the adventures and spin-off... well, they're "okay-ish"... I don't know, I don't feel like they are particularly funny or hilarious.

I remember having this obscure Pac-Man game as a young boy:

Image

It looked interesting but... bleh, wasn't the big deal. It got repetitive pretty easy and the ending was anticlimatic.

I remember enjoying this one for a while:

Image

It's not as good as Mario Kart, but its gameplay mechanics seemed fun enough.

I liked Adventures in Time as a kid. I probably wouldn't as much today.

Pac-Man World Rally had awesome soundtrack (Retro Maze Remix FTW!!!)
As for the other one, I remember playing it and It became very boring.

Have you played Pac-Man All Stars?

Nope, to be honest not at all.

But I sure remember this:

Which obviously was the inspiration for this:

Thank you for reminding me of that awesome song.
Speaking of Pac-Man and Fever, I ordered today Pac-Man Fever for PS2. It seems to be Mario Party clone by gameplay I saw, but at least, it used Old Pac-Man design and characters. I will give you my opinions on the game when it arrives. It was really cheap. Only 2.50$

Anyone remember this site? Apparently two people left one post on it after years, and one of them was T-Minor. Huh.
