Dear members,

I am delighted to announce that we have elected our new moderators.

Firstly, however, it is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the departure of two members of the team.

Spiraldoor, who has been a RayWiki sysop for more than three years and a moderator for almost two years, is stepping down after countless contributions. The whole community is very thankful for your work, Spiral.

Xenon, who was made a moderator in 2005, a super moderator in 2007 and an administrator in 2009, is also stepping back after more than eight years in the team. He is by far the person who has done the most for this community and even all our gratitude will never match up to his invaluable contribution and his exemplary loyalty.

To replace him, Cairnie, who joined the team in 2008 and became a super moderator in 2009, is promoted to the position of administrator, while Tobbe, who has been a moderator since 2009, becomes our new super moderator.

We have received excellent applications and this was not an easy choice. Our new moderators are Adsolution, Hoodcom, Master and Serza. Please join us in congratulating them for their new position.

We thank those whose applications were not successful for their interest and invite them to keep it up and try again on the next recruitment opportunities.

Everyone, I'm thrilled to be a new member of the staff. Sorry to be brief, as it's the middle of the night right now, but I thank everyone who has supported me on this. It is truly an honour to have been given the opportunity to contribute to and build upon the inner-workings of the Rayman Pirate-Community.

I do remember Xen having a normal colour, but that was a million years ago and his username was Spaceray back then.

I remember Xenon having the green colour when I joined, but I quickly got used to the red one. Now it is also strange to see the normal one on him.

Anyways, I'd like to congratulate all my new fellow mods, Ad, Serza and Hoodcom, I look forward to using my newfound powers alongside them in order to keep this community the great place it is.

I'd also like to offer my thanks to Xenon, for being a great admin since I've joined, and for the conversations, assistance and advice that he's offered me, I wish you all the best in the future, and please do visit us again sometime!
Spiral, though we have never conversed to the extent I've seen from my time prior to joining, I've always held a deep respect for you and your contributions, I hope you do well in the future, good chap.

And finally, congrats to both Tobbe and Cairnie on their promotions! The colour change is going to take some getting used to however...

All in all, hopefully we'll be able to live up to the legacies left behind by the departing members, and keep PC the great place it should be.
