It's not just you. It's me as well. Trailer was done very good, but it sure is odd if it is 2D Game.GNineify wrote:Hm, I find it rather odd whenever a 2D game gets a 3D trailer. I guess it's just me.

You know I never thought of that would 2.5D games count? Eh, probably not, well I never thought about it, Maplestory has had some 3D trailers before.sergiomonty wrote:How often does that happen, anyways?GNineify wrote:Hm, I find it rather odd whenever a 2D game gets a 3D trailer. What if ubisoft trolls us and instead of giving us a 3d rayman game they give us another 2D rayman game with 3d models? (2.5D)
I'll be honest, I wouldn't expect a 3D Rayman game soon, they said they're working on more Rayman after Legends, so I would expect the team to still use Ubiart, unless they really want to give us a big surprise.

Or then it's a 3D platformer, but all the characters are cardboard cutouts.

Does such game exist?GNineify wrote:Or then it's a 3D platformer, but all the characters are cardboard cutouts.

That sounds a bit like Kirby's Epic Yarn, or I think I may be thinking of something else.GNineify wrote:Or then it's a 3D platformer, but all the characters are cardboard cutouts.

Paper Mario was an RPG though, I'm thinking of a platforming game, but I guess you can count that.

Re: Rayman Legends
Yeah, I don't think we're getting another 3D Rayman game in a long while. Even if they reveal one next year, it simply won't be able to live up to the amount of content in Rayman Legends.
Am I the only person that would like DLC for this game? Like, a world with a couple characters, all for like, ten bucks would be pretty nice, and would add more content to it.

10 bucks for more characters? No thanks, I don't want Ubisoft to head the Capcom direction that Capcom went with for Marvel Vs Capcom 3.Bionichute wrote:Yeah, I don't think we're getting another 3D Rayman game in a long while.
