*BUMP*
I like listening to bands like Galneryus, X Japan, Nightmare, but I also like 80's and 90's American bands. Oh and I am also big fan of German band Dschingis Khan.

Re: What are people's musical tastes here?
My favourite genre would be Alternative Rock, almost solely British, with Muse being my favourite. Some others I avidly listen to are Keane, Radiohead, Coldplay, Elbow, OneRepublic and Gorillaz. Other bands I like (but wouldn't list as my absolute favorites) include Lincoln Park, Green Day, Coheed & Cambria, and maybe some others that I can't think of right now.
I'm also a fan of orchestral-electronic hybrids such as BT (most notably This Binary Universe) and Daft Punk. Deadmau5 is fantastic too.
When it comes to Classical/Romantic-aged music, I'm a huge fan of Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Gerschwin and Alan Hovhannes. Beethoven, being older than the above, is pretty tubular too.
I love the blues as well, especially some really off-the-wall stuff like Roland Kirk; those dark, edgy and naturalistic arrangements I could just die for. Boards of Canada, while they aren't really jazz, I group together with the others.

Not big on Deadmau5 anymore, I don't like dubstep very much anymore.

My favourite genre is Electronic, mostly thanks to Kraftwerk. Inside the same genre, I also like Jean Michel-Jarre, Vangelis and Depeche Mode.
I also like Pop and Rock in general and some specific classic music.

It is the name of a famous German electronic pop group, that I have a real respect and admiration too. I love their discography, and I went to see a concert of them live in 2004, when they went to play in Lisbon. It was unforgettable.
I saved the tickets along with the live concert DVD released some months later under the name of Minimum-Maximum.
Some examples of their discography:

Re: What are people's musical tastes here?
I already got that they're German. (Obviously enough from name). But that they're famous in Germany? I kinda doubt that. Never heard of them till your post.
Re: What are people's musical tastes here?
I edited my post. They are very known among the fans of electronic music since they are considered to be one of the pioneers of the genre.

Let me help you with that friend.emshomar wrote:All Youtube links are banned in Germany >_>
First you need to copy URL of the video, go to website http://hidemyass.com/ and paste URL. Click on button Hide My Ass and you will go on website. Video will load. I used that many times to watched banned videos.

Thank you very much my friend
Re: What are people's musical tastes here?
No problem, glad I could help.

Why is that?emshomar wrote:All Youtube links are banned in Germany >_>
Re: What are people's musical tastes here?
Because Karaftwerk is German band and YouTube does not want to allow people to listen to their music free. They want to force Germans to buy their music.
