T'would be terrible for ^ if it were an adult tooth, ^ must mind ^'s dental hygiene, no?
< has been trying to use RemoteJoyLite to see about recording stuff off <'s PSP, perhaps a project for < lies therein.

< of course would alert <'s dentist.
At least put it in milk when it comes out, if ^ is unsure; the tooth will survive much longer that way and it'll stay in good shape until the dentist can take a look at it.
Adsolution wrote:< is worried that choosing not to graduate in pursuit of <'s own lifestyle could result in a harsh shortage of money in the future unless < is actually able to find a very sturdy job in composition (the only job < could picture <'s self doing as any kind of an employee for someone else, and one of the only jobs in which no one gives a rat's ass about a diploma for).
Sounds shoddy! < feels for you, Adsolution!
Adsolution wrote:< already knows that the likely outcome, and what < desires most is to quit school and face the world, but the thought of being able to actually complete school and go to the Art Institute (experiencing the community environment) is so euphoric. Then again, that euphoria could also just be an illusion created by the biggest kind of peer-pressure of all.
Some scholar environments are absolutely fantastic. People meet all kinds of cool folk and have an amazing time there, in or out of class. If you've got your eye set on something you'd like to do (that will also help you in your future career), you may want to try and pursue that dream, in spite of what you may think the people will be like. There'll always be assholes everywhere you go, but there'll also always be lovely, fun people.

But ^ would need to complete those 7 to 11 courses during one year? What school is it ^ still needs a diploma from? Secondary, or University/College?

@Shrooblord:

Secondary/High school.

It's not the people < is worried about, < is simply trying to balance the different solutions. Is putting so much worthless effort into completing school to get to a place that, while probably an enjoyable experience, won't benefit < hugely (aside from maybe meeting some neat people), worth it? < isn't even sure if < would be able to do well in the courses presented, and not because < doesn't know how, but because < is probably one of the last people on the planet who do well under a curriculum-based, structured schooling procedure. So, along with it not being worth it for the amount of money it costs and the amount of mudwork it takes to get there, there's also that that < has to worry about.

Finishing high school or completing set courses may no sound like much to some others, but for <, it's like trying to scale Everest in a wheelchair, minus all the sense of achievement.

< sees it as sort of a 'short-term' dream, in the sense that while < thinks of it as a 'hey, that would be cool' sort of thing, < wouldn't be devastated if it wasn't meant to be.

< understands now. It's proabably possible for ^ to find work without a high shool diploma, but it'll be harder. Also, getting into a higher form of education (College, Vocational, Uni), will likely be nigh impossible without one (if < understands the system we've got going here correctly). However, maybe ^ could do something later on in ^'s life like evening school to get ^'s high school diploma, if ^ so wishes.

^ should of course think about this deeply, but < says that ^ should ultimately follow ^'s heart.

< had a thought that maybe < could become a mariner (< doesn't know if that term only stands for a person navigating a ship; < would rather navigate a boat or a ferry). < once got to do so with a small one and it felt really exciting and enjoyable. < just doesn't know where to start... < wants to try everything! Maybe this could become a rather unexpected, but good, job.

< had a strange dream. < dreamed, all RaymanPC members were prisoners in Hunchman801's flying pirate ship. We sent the experienced player out to escape and find help but until < woke no rescue came. Strange isn't it?
