Nope, Rayman arena isn't Rayman M.

It is. It was renamed in America as 'Rayman Arena', because the American rating system classes the 'M' label as meaning 'Mature'.

Make sure you don't get the Playstation version. The other versions are fine (PC is the best).

I think it's a good game, but some others don't like it. Most of those 'others' haven't bothered to finish it. Mind you, it could have done with LAN and internet multiplayer capabilities...

I'm quite satisfied with my PS version of the game. No glitches (that I found yet).

There are not as many glitches in this game as in R3. Then again, it's much simpler.

I like it. If people say that it isn't replayable, that statement is always false. Getting some good records in the race levels takes a huge amount of tries, and unlocking everything too. But some things made no sense, like the popolopoi on Zenith Harbour being much more difficult than the popolopoi in all the levels of the 'most difficult' league. It was the last thing I finished, too me ages...
And then I'm not even talking about battle yet. Ever tried getting 5-0 against the bot on Lum Spring in every level? Holy shit you're gonna have a hard time on Spellbound forest (but even more on Spooky Towers, even though I did get 5-0 on this once, pure luck though since the bot is fucking amazing in this level). And you can play custom games too. Five minutes, 1, 2 or 3 opponents, choose the level, and off you go. I wrote my records for those modes now. But if you totally master this game, it starts depending more on luck... because if the lums appear right near each other everytime, no wonder you get a higher score. But that applies to most games.

I've found a fair amount of glitches in R Arena...

Let's see..
All video modes with 16 bit compression makes ALL YOUR CHARS INVISIBLE (Jona might remember those screenshots. )
Flying off the track several times in races.
I've been pushed up through ceilings.
I've flown through walls and had to restart.
Computers mysteriously disappearing, also possibly flying into stupid areas.
Check my screenshots topic (I think it got moved to Rayman Artworks or something like that), Tily is FALLING APPART! O_O;
The game crashes once in a while, just closing out on its own and bringing you to the desktop.
I've managed to walk in midair.. ON NOTHING! AIR!! O_O;
Bullets sometimes just hang in the air and don't go anywhere when the battle arena starts.

...These are at least in the PC version. _ _

Oh yeah.. and.. I'm STILL aiming to get all the computers to end up with a score of 0 with Lum Fight/Ultra Hard/3 Computers.

I always were able to complete Popolopoi Mode in Zeneth Harbour. You just need to know where they are and what order to get them in.
Eventually I finished Spooky Towers in Spring, Battle and the other mode I forgotten.
Anyway, I never knew you could get new characters just by racing and getting 5-0 in the Battles. I've already unleashed 4 Globoxes, 4 Teensies, 4 Henchman800s, 4 Henchman1000s, and all the other non-skinned characters.

Well, the hardest thing i had to do it the game was the only battle level in the bunus world, i think it was named Spooky Towers or something. Like Jona said the bot was playing really fast and good. Getting all the Lums wasn't that hard, only in the Lava Factory it was a bit of a challenge. Also some levels in Popolopoi mode where a bit of difficult..

and the only real clitches i found in RaymanM where with the bots, in the beach level (forgot the name) where some bots stuck towards a wall. And in the Treasure Ship where all of the bots stuck to a gate that you can lock, Using that clitch will make it easy to get all the Lums, of course..

I tried it for Lum Fight, but that's kinda boring. The weapons system pisses me off, especially when like three generators in a row give you one of those goddamn fake generators, or a gold one that gives you those pointless homing bullets. And Capture the Fly is stupid too, because in every level there's a trick to avoid being shot (jump over a box, when they jump over it jump back) and there's a maximum score to it.

I dunno... I get wierd graphics glitches on other games sometimes too. There really isn't a friend's house I can try my games on, so I'm stuck... always wondering. XD

Here's the stats of my computer...
Video Card: Radeon 9100
OS: Windows XP
RAM: 256 Mb
Harddrive: 80 Gb

...and I've had these glitches for quite a while... Even after updating the drivers for my video card...

Oh.. and.. as a side note... For some reason, after updating my vid card drivers to play BG&E, I've got new graphics glitches on R3. O_o; Like... for some reason in the Tower of the Leptys, when I jump on the baloons, they pop and I see these wierd sprite baloon icon things.. ... and they have green backgrounds.. and they're squares... And.. sometimes, I can't see through them and it sucks. Whenever I try to take a screenshot of them, they disappear. This is both when I hit Space to use R3's screenshot system, and when I hit Print Screen.

In Coconut Island if you hide behind the raised area (near where you start) the opponent will just keep running round the arena.

@ Phoenixan: It may be your video card, it's rather old. Then again, the one on my old computer (from 1999) is extremely old, and I've never had those glitches there either... I can say it runs a lot smoother on my new one though.

lol If you look in BG&E, they show in the Readme what video cards the game is compatable with. And nearly every single one says "tested" by it except MINE. "Radeon 9100 - NOT TESTED".

...How do they know it's compatable with the Radeon 9100 if they haven't bothered running any tests..? O_o; There's a glitch I get in the cinimatic right after beating the final boss where the textures get screwed up.. >< And it lasts until the credits start.

I plan on upgrading sometime soon anyways.. like in my summer vacation.

To develop a lecture, I choose images in a layout from the initial entry database and import them into the lecture database via their Collection ID number. I use one layout to sort images into a sequence for presentation and another to plan. The planning layout has fields from both the entry and research databases, allowing me to synthesize both information noted from image entry as well as research found on the subject of the image from the Internet or other sources. Finally, I project the lecture using a separate layout in the same lecture database.
