As long as it's executed properly. I don't want a crappy bossfight, not to say the boss fights in Origins weren't awesome, just a little...predictable. I want a fight that actually challenges me! Something more along the lines of the Big Mama battle from The Land of the Livid Dead.TheTempurmental wrote:A boss fight with friggin' Zeus himself has GOT to to epic!

What boss fight were you playing? The Big Mama boss fight sucked!beebo44 wrote:As long as it's executed properly. I think they'll be able to pull it off correctly, if Zeus is even the boss of the world. The NEMO boss fight looks really cool, and is probably ten times better than all the boss fight in Rayman Origins.

I actually didn't mind the Big Mama boss fight, although the first time I fought Big Mama was with a friend, so I might have gotten more of a kick from it than you.Bionichute wrote:What boss fight were you playing? Thinking back on it though, I guess it was a bit underwhelming compared to the fun and challenge of the Livid Dead.

Must be terrible for them to think about it... Imagine you were on a plane to SF today while another plane to the same destination crashed on the same day!
Christophe Héral also made a short comment on the incident:
The Zeus thing also sounds cool, and they can easily throw in all of these earth elements as they're not part of Rayman's world, they're just "magical paintings".Christophe Héral wrote:Bon on est arrivé à SF, juste un peu en retard, mais en bon état ...contrairement à d'autres
Alright, we have arrived in SF, just a bit late, but in good state... unlike others
Kind of a lame excuse, but I think the game will make up for that. ^^
Re: Rayman Legends
I don't mind if the game will bring the gods of Ancient Greece, I think it can be interesting.

Re: Rayman Legends
I'd love Greek gods in the game! Maybe they can make some other gods like Polokus based on the main ancient Greek gods and give them other names. That would be awesome. Also we could get myths from Teensies.

Hm, there was mention of other gods in the Knowledge of The World, to see them would be nice.
Though I'd love for the Leptys to also be given a return.

HEY, don't be taking the zeus thing to seriously since it was from late LAST year! he may not be in the game! also, when RL was first leaked, it said it would have "vampires, ghosts, and greek gods". that was the FIRST piece of information on the gods! it's old!

Re: Rayman Legends
I'd actually rather see them tackle the Greek gods directly rather than skirting around them being part of Rayman's world. Seeing the entire cosmology of Greek myth, or at least the implication of it, filtered through the sensibilities of Rayman's world would be fascinating. We've already had references to Artemis and the muses. Let's go full-on God of War and bring in some Titans.

Re: Rayman Legends
I would still make sense. I mean, we have a world based on Greek mythology named OLYMPUS Maximus, it would only make sense to have some Greek gods in there somewhere.globolk wrote:HEY, don't be taking the zeus thing to seriously since it was from late LAST year! he may not be in the game! also, when RL was first leaked, it said it would have "vampires, ghosts, and greek gods". that was the FIRST piece of information on the gods! it's old!

Re: Rayman Legends
Well, if they were included I'd rather have them renamed. Just so it fits better. Would be weird to have Poseidon, Zeus, etc. in the game. Or they could have non-human forms.

Because weirdness in a Rayman game is a deal-breaker?TeensieKing wrote:Well, if they were included I'd rather have them renamed. Just so it fits better. Would be weird to have Poseidon, Zeus, etc. in the game. Or they could have non-human forms.

Well, Jano was based on a roman god, so it might be possible.TeensieKing wrote:Well, if they were included I'd rather have them renamed. Just so it fits better. Would be weird to have Poseidon, Zeus, etc. in the game. Or they could have non-human forms.

Re: Rayman Legends
Doesn't seem to be a direct correlation. Morpheus the god of dreams maybe? His look and the surrounding mythology seem to be largely original. The connection between Jano and Janus is also pretty flimsy. He resembles Hades/Pluto much more closely.

Re: Rayman Legends
I think it would be hilarious for there to be characters that are based on Greek gods. I could totally see Rayman dressed up as, like, Hermes the messenger god. Maybe have a Globox and a Teensie thing like that too.

Actually Chronos is part of my Rayman fanfic.sergiomonty wrote:Chronos! :3Haruka wrote:I don't mind if the game will bring the gods of Ancient Greece, I think it can be interesting.
