Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Indeed, the premise of the trailer has me intrigued as well, who exactly is this person?
Anyways, seeing as we're on a new page, I'll just quote my post with the trailer to save would be viewers the hassle of locating it.

Looks interesting, I must say, and it's the first game to have the usual formula in since a Crack in Time, big boots to fill in there.
It also seems we've shifted back into the Future aesthetic, though with hints of A4O and FFA/Q-Force's.
Seems like you were right, Bzzit.
Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
I am suprised it is not on PS4.
Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
I'm glad it isn't for PS4.

Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Likewise, I don't get consoles at launch, ever, I'd hate to miss out on this.
Is it me, or does the voice sound a bit like Talwyn?

Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
I personally think the voice sounds a little like Angela from the second game talking in a slow and creepy manner.Would be awesome if they finally brought her back.

Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Actually, given what the voice over says, that would be rather fitting, being vengeful for Ratchet's failure in returning the Lombaxes.
Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Yeah exactly, also the fact that Ratchet just plain out abandoned her at the start of the 3rd game
Im really looking forward to this game, especially due to the fact its a proper entry to the series and the epilogue to the awesome future saga(which was quite a surprise to me).

Sweet, I loved Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, and A Crack In Time, this is on my to-get list.Master wrote:Well, lookie here:

Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Phew, I was afraid that we would see little of Ratchet & Clank and their adventures, since that Insomniac has made Fuse and is making a Xbox One exclusive.

Wow it's awsome! Keep the past alive in new technology.
Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
It looks great! Clanks gameplay certainly looks different when compared to prior installments in the franchise.

Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Here's to a bump.
Well, as some of you are no doubt aware, Sony gave out free copies of Ratchet: Gladiator HD(Deadlocked in the states and most other places) to those who own Q-Force as a freebie in apology of delaying Q-Force's Vita version. I've downloaded it and given it a whirl, so here's some initial thoughts:
I can see why many consider this the odd one out of the PS2 era, much like how Jak X took a single concept of gameplay that featured in past games and made that the focus, Gladiator takes the Arena battles and some of the challenges and puts them in the forefront, as such, the game itself is much more action focused. Platforming itself is minimal to practically nonexistent, so don't go in expecting your average R&C experience in terms of gameplay, however, storywise, and humourwise, it's still the same, and I enjoy a good R&C tale as much as the next guy.
The controls take some getting used to, as there's no Clank on your back, and you can select a permanent strafe mode, which I did, as it fit the action gameplay and need to manoeuvre and shoot multiple targets with ease, the challenges themselves are well made, and are fairly designed.

I never got Ratchet Gladiator HD, though I did 100% the HD trilogy, should probably give Gladiator a whirl whenever.

Re: The Ratchet & Clank Thread
Indeed, 'Deadlocked' actually sounds more like a badass name to me, though I think 'Gladiator' describes it better probably.
