Here is another one:

Rayman had some really weird texture glitches for some reason^
I also noticed that the planks on the ground are not straight like in other versions, it's more curvy.

I just completed the japanese version, but did not find anything else that would be different.

Here is the first different background:

And here is the second:

DarkRay is having some texture issues:

Here is the start of the final boss fight. The glass flashes every time when you hit the boss:

And the ending, that were also in the other Sega Saturn versions:

Yep, I did :mryellow:
I will tell you how to get it working:

1. Go on this web site and download SSF 0.10 Alpha R1. It must be that version because older and newer versions do not play Croc 1 for some reason
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~phantasy/ss ... index.html

2. It is important thing to download correct ISO. Many Saturn and Dreamcast ISOS are not dumped correctly so they will not work. I found working English version and Japanese version.

Japanese Version: http://theisozone.com/downloads/other-c ... au-island/
English Version: http://romhustler.net/rom/saturn/croc

This Japanese ISO is full without missing tracks and intro (the one you sent me for PS1 was not ripped correctly, it had missing intro and some other files too like music for example and some system files. When I analyzed ISO, it had so many errors that it is possible game would crash later during gameplay).

Emulation is good, however on Japanese intro, narration Audio is little laggy.
I also could not find anyone on YouTube that uploaded full Japanese intro so I decided to do it myself:
It has narration and in my opinion it is done good

Also I got a comment by my friend who told me Croc is Japanese game but it was more popular in US/Eur
I am a little confused because I thought Croc's creator was British, but he told me it was not. Comments can be seen in intro video.

Yeah, but I guess it's only the emulator, because he does not have those problems when I play my PS1 version.

If anyone is interested, i still own a copy of Rayman Junior, so if anyone knows a good ISO ripper program which i can rip it with, i would appreciate it much. I tried to make an ISO of it with CDBurnerXP, but it froze for 2 seconds every 2 seconds in an emulator if it ran the ISO, howewer if it ran the CD itself, it worked well. I just downloaded All Free ISO Ripper to see if it works.

Also, i just did a little research, and a company sells Rayman Junior level 1 for about 20$, level 2 and level 3 for 30$, but notes that they ran out of stock with this game.

PowerISO is best for PS1 ripping and it is free.

I got my Rayman junior's as sealed when I bought them. But opened them afterwards, because I needed the CD's. MagicISO is also really good ISO maker. ;)

Your friend is wrong because Croc was developed by Argonaut Software, which was definitely a British company.

Thats what I told him but here is what answered me in comment:
"the development team's junior staff was from devon, which i belive in in europe. not entirely sure."

I think it is obvious he has no clue about developers at all.

He might be confused since the japanese Croc game obviously had to have a japanese team to do some tweaks like adding the japanese language for example. If I remember well, the japanese RR also owns credits from Japanese staff but it would be ridiculous affirming that the game is japanese and not french.

I agree. Most US and Eur game have a japanese team who localizes the game to make it look better for Japanese. Only ones that did not do that and I know (perhaps there are more people but I only know one example) were Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin. They pretty much spend many time studying Japanese culture in order to adapt Crash Bandicoot for Japanese and in my opinion, they did amazing work.

What he said was probably one of the most amusingly ignorant things I've read in a while, lest we forget a certain recent off-topic quarrel yesterday.

Just to update you guys, I am downloading Rayman 1 Japanese Saturn iso form very private site that is even more private and hard to register on then Underground-Gamer was. Their profession is dumping games so I was hoping they will have Rayman 2 Japanese Dreamcast dumped but sadly they don't. But remember my words, that game WAS dumped by someone and people played it on Emulator and I will one day find it.
