How about a plot where it turns out that that dumb Teensie really isn't the Magician and was just impersonating him in order to gain Rayman's trust? And maybe the real Magician was kidnapped by Dark Rayman like in Revenge of the Dark?

Hm, while I've been one of those who consider Ales as the actual Magician, I've liked all the headcanons Dragon has come up with on the subject, she's had some cool ideas regarding it.

I would like that since I will never see Ales as real Magician (nothing agains Ales as character but I want Classic Magician back too)

Ah, yes, I posted a fanfiction plot (Which ends rather sadly) regarding that in he headcanon thread. My actual headcanon, however, is as follows:

Ales, being a Mr Dark fanboy, wanted to follow in the villain’s footsteps. However, he knew that if he took any action and gave himself away too soon, Rayman and his friends would surely try to stop him. Knowing also of Rayman’s past, Ales knew that one of Rayman’s good friends back in the Valley had been the Magician. Ales Mansay decided to use the Magician’s image (or at least one similar), and called himself by the same title, as he knew Rayman would trust and serve him much easier that way. That way he could also use Rayman and his friends to gather lums for his big project until he was ready to ditch them and reveal himself.
Basically, Ales impersonated the Magician from the first game rather than choosing a Mr Dark look or a regular teensie look because:

-Rayman trusted magicians and was used to collecting shiny things for the one back in the Valley, so Ales could use Rayman and his friends to collect lums.
-Ales knew he wasn’t as powerful as Mr Dark himself and chose wisely to not let anyone know he was the villain until well into the execution of his plans.
-To look stylin’.

I'd like to just point out that the photoboard the photographer uses depicts a naked bodybuilder. Basically he's constantly following Rayman around, taking photos of his face on the body of a naked bodybuilder. Think about that one for a while.
