When I think about it, you are right.
Wane and Wayne can pretty much be compared to Jak and Jack.

There was no Polish version, in fact. No jokes were made either, actually, other than people pronouncing it "yak" instead of, you know, "Jack".

It's spelled "Tokio" in lots of languages, including Dutch and German. Just like London is spelled "Londen" in Dutch. Which is just weird to me.
