When is your birthday again, Shrube? I can't remember if I'm older or younger than you.

No, I just explained that he actually had to remove the last 4 milk teeth I still had in my jaws in order to leave their gap available to the molars and later the wisdom teeth having enough space to fully fill it without any pain. I own the wisdom teeth and don't need their removal at all, and all my teeth are already the permanent ones.

Ah, so your milk teeth just lasted a very long time, or the braces prevent them from coming out so you had to have them manually removed? Sorry, I know little to nothing about braces.

I thought you needed to have all adult teeth out to have braces put in, atleast, I believe that was the case with me.

The dentist said it is actually better doing it around teenaging, and not before or after.

The last 4 molar milk teeth did last a long time (these weren't linked with the braces). It was because they had a long root and very stuck in the jaws' flesh so the dentist had to remove them manually after applying anesthesics. I had to have the gaps stitched too and wearing some strong elastics to "pull" the other permanent molars for the gaps directions.

Indeed, I had my braces taken out only a year ago, when I was 15, I got them at around 13.

I had to have some teeth taken out too, and the procedure sounds pretty much the same as you described, had anaesthetic put in, then had the teeth yanked out, my lips were swollen for quite some time thereafter.

- My bottom-left wisdom tooth is just killing my mouth, and I've been taking Advil for nearly a week straight - without it, there's a searing pain, and it makes me dizzy whenever I wake up after the pill's worn off. While I was supposed to be able to retain all of them, this one just keeps swelling up over and over again, and now I can barely open or close my mouth.

You're such a beautiful phenomenon.
I remember that i couldn't remove one of my molar teeth for about a month, even though it was about to get out, and ended up breaking into 3 pieces. That was horrible.

You're a few months younger than I am, if I recall correctly. 18th of June.

Whoa, really?

My teeth are okay, except for one gross thing. My milk teeth dun fukd off all well n shit, however my upper cuspids had no intention to come out. And actually, eww, my new, actual teeth had to grow a bit higher than that, and they kinda plowed through there, and for a while, I had it like that. I plucked one of the two milk teeth, but the other is, to this day, fucking stuck there. However, soon I'll go to a dentist so he can fucking tear off that fucking milk fuck teeth shit ass tittybarf sorry Tourette's and then I'll get braces to push the two actual teeth down... that, or they'll remove them altogether and I'll just get braces to make my teeth a bit closer to each other, seeing as I have pretty big teeth, and I don't think these two monstrosities would fit right now. To be fair, I don't look nearly as bad as most of the people who have that, but I still think that's really fucking ugly and gross.

your 'gums'

I had a milktooth removed when I was getting my braces, but that's about the end of my problems. Well that, and the fact that now that I haven't got any braces anymore (haven't had them for two years now), the teeth in my upper jaw are 'wandering around' so I have to put in night braces every few nights to keep them in check.

Hm, I had to wear a retainer full time for the first month after getting my braces out, now, I wear it nightly, it could be the same thing.

When I was a child, I had 2 teeth that dentist got out. I remember when I came there I asked: "Will this hurt?"
He said just to relax and that he will do it slowly. He lied and did it fast :P
