I do hate now the eShop because they don't let me get my Rayman 1 back :X

That's quite the drop, for that money, I could get a 3DS.

Only that? Damn, talking about crisis...
And finally, I've spotted eShop cards in a store. Well done Nintendo, you are doing this 2,5 years after the 3DS release.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Hmm, indeed, Ninty aren't doing too good at the moment, and their stubbornness in some scenarios is probably not helping either.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Indeed. I hope they'll change their mind, cause together with the great line-up of games that will coming out during late 2013/early 2014 they may be able to pull themselves out of their troubles. Sadly, it seems that Ninty sometimes doesn't see the obvious solution to thing.
On the topic of Rayman 1 for 3DS, definitely contact the customer service. They might be a lil' stubborn at first but they'll quickly offer something nice. I once had an issue with a Wii Points card (Don't quite remember what) and contacted them. To make it up, they send me a copy of Wii Play Motion plus a Motion Plus controller. Not bad.

Aye. I'd really like to see all the Mario Party games appear on there someday.OldClassicGamer wrote:Still, Wii was missing some N64 Classics on VC and it is still missing them to this day.

Patching Wii U and 3DS to be region free would boost sales a lot.Master wrote:Hmm, indeed, Ninty aren't doing too good at the moment, and their stubbornness in some scenarios is probably not helping either.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I don't think the region-lock is the issue. Nintendo did a too much pricey console for a tech that is already outdated (PS3 and 360 appeared first with the HD graphics for a good portion of years) and the lack of AAA titles isn't helping a lot either. I think the only solution would be lowing down the prices of the Wii Us, the digital games (I honestly don't understand why these must cost as much as a retail game) and bringing the AAA titles the fastest possible. Lets admit that Wii U isn't as revolutionary as a Wii back in 2006, the Wii U tech isn't something that we never saw before (erhem, tablets) with exception of the assymetrical gameplay.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Games like Nintendo Land make me appreciate the gamepad more, but there aren't enough of those. I hope Nintendo doesn't just put a menu or something on the screen for Smash Bros. and Mario Kart because it would only prove that even they can't think of anything to do with the pad besides minigames. I could imagine Mario Party 10 have some pretty clever minigames, but again it's in the party genre. I don't think you can make it interact much with a first person shooter or a platformer (3D World uses it to scan secret objects. That's not bad, but it isn't really a game changer either).Haruka wrote:I don't think the region-lock is the issue. They really should go for at least a small price drop when Winter arrives because that together with AAA titles is how the 3DS went from being a failure to a bestseller. Pikmin 3 and Mario should boost sales quite a bit.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I agree, the game d could have been such a grand concept, yet they don't do anything with it. I could imagine them doing something really creative with Star Fox perhaps, but wishing for another star fox game is like wishing for Croc 3.Keane wrote:Games like Nintendo Land make me appreciate the gamepad more, but there aren't enough of those. Hmm, if there will be a Metroid game for Wii U, I wonder how it'll work with the gamepad.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
We NEED a Pokémon Snap U.. that would boost sales.. a lot.
I know so many people who like Pokémon Snap and are willing to buy a WiiU if they make a HUGE Pokémon Snap game.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I have a friend who hated Pokemon Snap so much and he thought Beyond Good and Evil is similar so he did not bought it. Many years later he regrets that.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I actually compare BG&E with a mix of TLOZ and PKMN Snap in gameplay terms. Not an usual combination but I think it turned out pretty interesting in the end.

Legend Of Zelda is a good game to compare it with!Haruka wrote:I actually compare BG&E with a mix of TLOZ and PKMN Snap in gameplay terms. Not an usual combination but I think it turned out pretty interesting in the end.
Pokemon snap though? Really. Just because you take pictures in it doesn't mean that's comparable. I think that is used in far too many games to be able to compare with.
I guess I'll start comparing Dead Rising 1 to Beyond Good and Evil, LOL.
Beyond Good and Evil kicks ass though, hoping to get on PC
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Get it on Steam dude.
