This Mr. Dark boss battle is way more epic in my opinion.

It's good, yeah, but the suspense at the beginning of the fight in the original game (PC etc) is a lot more profound, I think.

It is. Too bad later it gets boring when Mr. Dark leaves

True, it does kinda get boring.
I wonder what happened to Mr. Dark after he made his desperate escape route.
He could be in future Rayman games along side rezorbeard

If you can't the Edu games as canon. Which I, and probably many others, don't.
Either way, I'd rather not have them team up, they'd probably work better alone.

I actually count Educational games to take place after Rayman 1 and before Rayman 2, in Rayman timeline.

I thought that game was a spin off.

So you believe they did occur, alright.
I personally, don't think that they occurred, the events in them are not canon to me, they have no place in the Rayman timeline.

No, I don't think they occurred.
I was just wondering what would happen if they did occur.
The possibility.

Nah, it's fine, I ought to have made it a little more clear when the post review came up.

Anyways, the discussion at hand, the Edu games that I don't think have any place in the canon Rayman timeline.

Did any one thought it was weird the the frame rate on Rayman 2 N64 is way faster on the demos (Don't press start on the main menu screen) then the actual game.

I've never played the actual N64 version, only the DS version, so I can't comment there.

I have no intention of playing the N64 version, given that the PC version is essentially identical, but with better graphics and sound, seeing as I have Rayman 2 PC, I have no need for the N64 version.

Even though the N64 is only slightly better than the PS1 version when it comes to technical graphics, it actually plays almost as smoothly as the Dreamcast version.

I have only played - and only own - the PS1 version. I've always wanted to play the Dreamcast version and Revolution, though. Revolution is extremely hard to find here, and so are most Rayman games minus Arena, Raving Rabbids, and Origins. I only found one copy of Revolution at a store once and I wanted to buy it eventually, but the next time I went to the store it was unsurprisingly gone.

I have to admit, I've only completed R2 by playing the iOS port. I actually liked it. I got used to the touch controls and sometimes it would crash resulting into going to the home screen, but otherwise I thought it was an okay port.
