Re: Rayman Legends
If I don't pre-order the PC version, I want to participate in the contest.

Re: Rayman Legends
This should be fun!
I'm not sure what the contest will be, I guess we'll just pick a random winner of anyone who comments.

Re: Rayman Legends
But as in the meantime, I mostly likely going with the PC version. Because it's cheaper, portable (I have my laptop), and for cheapskates like me the online mode is free.
Re: Rayman Legends
I honestly think it would be kinda unfair like that. I suggest we wait and see who pre-orders RL as well so we see how many copies we have for contest. That way we will see how many places can win something. For example, if 5 people did a pre-order, first 5 places get RO. Now about contest. I guess that drawing would be unoriginal idea since most finished drawing for other contests. We must think of something, also any suggestion by others is welcomeRayfist wrote:I guess we'll just pick a random winner of anyone who comments.

Re: Rayman Legends
Alright, no problem, we have much time to discuss this, I planned to create the topic few days before RL.

Re: Rayman Legends
You use a Mac? Install Windows on a split partition then, it takes less than an hour to set up, and you'll gain all the benefits of PC Legends-related goods.sergiomonty wrote:Sadly... I use mac, so I can't play RL on steam even if I wanted :c Wii U version all the way C:
Re: Rayman Legends
Doesn't Mac have Steam Store as well?
Re: Rayman Legends
RL isn't Mac supported. You can only play it on Windows.
Re: Rayman Legends
Wait so despite Steam Store existing on Mac they don't have RL supported? That's kinda lame

Re: Rayman Legends
Steam has a Mac section which only shows games which can be played on Macs, same for the Linux section.
Re: Rayman Legends
Why not all games on all OS's?

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm not the most technically minded, but I think it's to do with compatibility, the OSs are different, and it's up to the publisher, not Valve, to decide what platform they wish to make their games compatible with.

Re: Rayman Legends
That's akin to asking why you can't put a Super Nintendo game in a Genesis and expect it to work.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why not all games on all OS's?
Re: Rayman Legends
Those games looks great. Wait and see for a price dropRayfist wrote:@Raylex
...Smash Bros, Windwaker, Sonic Lost Worlds, RL, Mario Kart 8, any of those fit your tastes? If so go for a Wii-U
The wii-U is actually a lot better than the original wii in my opinion, considering Nintendos selling on the Wii-U hasn't been doing too hot, it'll mostlikely get a price drop soon, so give it a wait Raylex for the good games and price drop :p
That what I was going to say. Don't worry, if a game works on different OS, Steam will sell it on every OS. They don't want to loose a pennyAdsolution wrote:That's akin to asking why you can't put a Super Nintendo game in a Genesis and expect it to work.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why not all games on all OS's?
Re: Rayman Legends
You can't do that but you can play Genesis games on SNES with adapterAdsolution wrote:That's akin to asking why you can't put a Super Nintendo game in a Genesis and expect it to work.

There are even videos about this so it's not fake at all. Adapter is called RetroGen.

Re: Rayman Legends
I remember a long time ago I owned a snes/genesis clone called the FC3PLUS, the thing was a piece of shit and couldn't render the game properly, so I bought an actual Super Nintendo and Genesis.
Re: Rayman Legends
Smart move for collectors.
Re: Rayman Legends
Can I get a free copy of digital RO? Only if all the copies already have owners.
Re: Rayman Legends
We shall make a contest!
