I honestly don't want to support Microsoft this time, sorry. Things are still not looking to bright for the XBone for me, look at the exclusives on launch, other than Dead Rising 3, seriously what is worth getting? Of course I shouldn't be judging a launch lineup. And the whole deal with the spying thing, I understand it doesn't bother some people, but point is, whether you like it or not, you can't deny the fact it's a huge invasion of privacy even if you ARE aware of it. Is this the first time this has been done? Of course not. But if I could LIST any reason NOT to buy an Xbox One (I'm not saying don't buy one but this is if I could list any reason), that would be one of them.Oldclassicgamer wrote:There is 1 thing Ad was right from start. We all judged Xbox One way too fast. Now that it is region free and no DRM stuff, I guess it is ok console. Only thing I dislike about it is Kinect but that is neither positive or negative since it is opinion based.

The new Mario and Luigi Dream Team coming out for 3DS (already out in Europe I think) looks freaking awesome, I do want!

I must agree that Partners in Time was more on the "meh" side, since the babies joke got old pretty quickly and the puzzles became just boring and repetitive... But saying that Sticker Star sucks? that is basically saying that you suck at itOldClassicGamer wrote:Partners in Time is my least favourite Mario RPG alongside with Sticker Star
Fuck you Mr. L ... you're just Luigi in a black costume and fans be like "he's such a developed character"

Re: Off Topic
Sergio... please.
I honestly am not enjoying Sticker Star, my friend gave it to me for free boxed, and no, it isn't bad, but it's my LEAST favorite Paper Mario game. I liked Super Paper Mario a lot better, how was it over rated? If anything a lot of people disliked Super Paper Mario if I recall. Though I do agree about Mr. L.

Re: Off Topic
Sticker Star is so unlike the first two games - ironically, the very games it was trying to succeed - it's utterly disgraceful that they even share the same brand name. Almost none of the most key, identifiable mechanics have remained in-tact, and all the stickers system is is an extremely dumbed-down and much shallower version of the much more expansive badges system. Sticker Star is basically a downgrade in every way imaginable.sergiomonty wrote:But saying that Sticker Star sucks? that is basically saying that you suck at it

Re: Off Topic
Wow, Adsolution summed that up brilliantly.
But I felt even SUPER PAPER MARIO was more memorable than Sticker Star, the worlds of Sticker Star felt so bland and unoriginal, like the desert level, now I often hate desert themed levels, but in the ORIGINAL Paper Mario for N64, for the first time, I loved a desert level. The levels just felt like your basic themed levels, I'm still playing through the game but it's honestly dissapointing.
However I do like the concept of when the NPC's in town are stuck in a wall or something and you can peel them off, that's neat. But the actual combat is just ugh.

Exactly! I just don't see anything good in Sticker Star. Also, I do prefer first two best but at least with Super Paper Mario I appriciate that they tried something new and it was still enjoyable game.

Re: Off Topic
Super Mario RPG I'm counting as part of the Paper Mario series considering the fact the original Paper Mario is SUPER mario RPG 2
Re: Off Topic
I believe that was prototype name but it was scrapped when Square and Nintendo seperated so Paper Mario became it's own series.

Super Mario RPG still kicked ass, I loved it despite some hatred it got.
Re: Off Topic
I never even knew it got hate. It's pretty good game in my opinion.

Re: Off Topic
My friend Noah hated it, said it was one of the worst RPG's he played on Super Nintendo which I call bullshit on.
Not sure if it's just me- but I seriously think the Snes had the BEST RPG's!
Earthbound, Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Secrets of Mana
Ya'll need to play Earthbound trust me.

Hm, I don't tend to play many turn based RPGs, but I know Earthbound is one of those which can be enjoyed even if one doesn't take fancy to the genre, I'll give it a shot if an opportunity to do so arises.

I didn't like SMRPG...
Now Sticker star...well I've been giving it a go and while I can see why a lot of people don't like it (ie the cull of some of the RPG elements that made the first two so good) I don't think it's that bad so far.

It's not that it's particularly bad but it's the least best Paper Mario undoubtedly.
BTW Stace what didn't you like about SMRPG?

Re: Off Topic
She could dislike it for the same reason my friend Noah disliked it, he found the isometric view ugly and the RPG combat repetitive (which I did not at all find)
Re: Off Topic
pretty much every RPG has same combat. Except for Action RPG's
