Well there's a truth if ever I did see one.

Hair past my shoulders is too long for me now.

My hair is kept at such length that it reaches my shoulder blades, which is fine by me.

I've done that, but they just don't listen. Anyways, at this point I'd even be fine with hair past the ears, but not at the shoulders if they would let me grow it that long.

You'd be surprised how well this doesn't work for a lot of people.

I used to have hair down past my shoulders, but I cut it really short earlier this year. I've decided that hair any longer than just past my ears is not good for me.

Really? Well, it still does not make sense in my view, but that is perhaps because my father tought me that every person has equal rights and decides for himself. Ever since I know about myself I was practicly allowed to do anything. Only things that my father said I cannot do while living under his roof were taking drugs, and driniking alcohol before I am legally allowed (although to be fair, even now I don't drink it that much).

Also Ad, why did you say that you now think that hair longer then past your ears is not good for you?

I'm sure it doesn't make sense for the majority of us. My parents won't put up a bunch of posters in my room and grow my hair long. I see absolutely no problem with doing either. Not only that, but my dad had long hair when he was not much older than me, so I find it hypocritical that they won't let me.
