Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Something I can reveal is that while most of the levels are linear, there will be certain levels that stray from that a bit and are more of an open-world in which exploration is the key. Aeropolis is one of these places.
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Yea. Razorbeard should be intense, not in-tents.
I'll stop using this joke when it stops being relevant.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
That would be hilariously ironic and badass all at the same time. Please, someone make a Rayman 2.5 sometime in the future.Master wrote:It makes me wish to see a Buccaneer ruins level, much like the Stadium ruins in Jak 3, it'd be a nice way to have a few call backs while still having a unique level.
Also, something I've always wanted, was to have Rayman find and repair the Grolgoth, and use it to face Razorbeard in a Grolgoth II atop the ruins of the Buccaneer.
You'll be using that one for a long fucking while, then.Rulez wrote:Yea. Razorbeard should be intense, not in-tents.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
It was said that the Rabbids were planning an attack since Rayman 1... So is it possible we might see a cameo appearance of the Rabbids?
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
I don't think that Ad will put them.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Personally, I think the majority of us have the Rabbids as non canon, I wouldn't mind a cameo, but not an actual canonical appearance, I'd prefer them to remain separate now.
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Separate indeed. It is better for both series.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
The Rabbids simply don't fit into my mindset of what an enemy in Rayman looks like. They're far too non-Raymanesque, if there can be such a thing, but I can't put my finger on why that is.
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Random question! Will the game be in other languages/have subtitles in other languages? Because if you are planning to get it released if Ubi Soft accepts you might need to have it in different languages too. I don't know if this question already got asked and I don't really feel like going through over 300 pages to see if it has been. If it has then i'm sorry for repeating a question!
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
There will be other languages, and Japanese version will have Rayman blue
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Ah well that's good to know! (:

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
The three primary languages that will for sure exist with full voice acting are English, French and Dutch, with subtitles in other languages. Whether the other languages receive full voice acting as well or not will depend on the support the game receives as it progresses, especially if money ever becomes involved.ZeptoRay wrote:Random question! @Rayrobi
I never seen a game with Hungarian subtitles so it would be cool in my opinion

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Rayman M and Origins in fact contain hungarian subtitles. Other examples are Crash Twinsanity or Forza Motorsport.OldClassicGamer wrote:@Rayrobi

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
ROTD needs Polish subtitles, not necessarily voices, but definitely subtitles.

I never saw Hungarian subtitles in any of those games. Perhaps it is only for Hungarian release.Rayrobi wrote:Rayman M and Origins in fact contain hungarian subtitles. Other examples are Crash Twinsanity or Forza Motorsport.OldClassicGamer wrote:@Rayrobi

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
A thing to keep in mind when using foreign script is that you'll have to update your fonts to be able to support them. I don't know how much of a hassle that will become, but just something to keep in mind.
For instance, in French you have the c cédille 'ç'.

You can use the Advanced search function of this forum to search in a specific topic, I believe.ZeptoRay wrote:I don't really feel like going through over 300 pages to see if it has been [asked].

And in Polish you have ęóąśłżźć and ń.
