That's weird. Wasn't this game supposed to go global all at the same time? Wasn't that the big deal about this being the first game ever to do that?

You can change it back to the old theme via User Control Panel->Board Preferences->My Board Style, if you so wish.

Many Steam games get released at the same time worldwide so this would not be first game ever to do it, and nope, Europe and Asia are getting this game first according to websites, while America is getting it later. I don't know why but thats how it is.

Releasing something worldwide online doesn't really count. The effort is much larger if you have to push manufacturing and shipping in such a way that the entire globe can have the same product at the exact same time.

Hm... I'm starting to remember maybe Skyrim was released on the same date worldwide? 11.11.11, right?

I believe so.
I'm pretty sure Legends has always had separate release dates for each region since the delay.

Come on, you had Rayman Origins earlier than us, remember? :P

It was released everyware on 11.11.11 except in Japan. They had to dub the game first so it was released in Japan on December 8, 2011. In my opinion, dubbing Skyrim on Japanese is very unfitting because of characters and medievel theme that does not look like Japanese at all, and it would be much better if it was subbed only.

Is the release date for the uk the 30th or 29th? People keep saying its one or the other, but I'm getting confused. Also, since I preordered my copy from game, will I get it the day it's released? ( pre ordered online)

Welcome to the forums, SlendeRayman. It will be released on the 30th and you should get it on that day.

Thanks guys! So the copies of the games arrive at the stores before the release date and are then shipped to people who preordered before or on the release date?

If memory serves, I got my copy of Rayman Origins on the release date, but that was from Amazon, it may depend on retailer, but I'd assume a pre-order comes on release for all of 'em.

I recall when I pre-ordered my Wii-U from GameStop, I got it the day of release, but I think it was due to me having one day shipping on that.

So I think shipping options may take into account with some retailers.

Amazon do an amazing job when it comes to pre orders. However I preordered mine from game and I don't know whatvkind if a job they'll do. The website says that there's a 2 day free shipping? Which I went with. So would that be 2 days from release date or 2 data from when the game arrives at their store/warehouse?

What version are you getting? Game over price some of their games so I'm not sure what the pre ordering will be like. When rayman origins was released I went I into my game store just before it was going to close the day bridge it's release and they had copies of the game already in the store. So I'm guessing the game will definitely get into the store before the release. But they don't have any details about the pre order shipping so I'm starting to think that their pre order shipping will start from the release date. :(

I'm getting the PS3 version, for £34.99, if my last visit is still valid.

Wii u version for the same price. I think that wii u has been given a lot more special content than other version. I mean 4 exclusive skins for wii u and 1 for Xbox and ps3, vita gets 2 and pic gets none. I'm happy that I'll get those costumes but isn't it a bit unfair to other gamers who get other versions?

I have no idea concerning the Portuguese release date. It can be either 30, 29, 28 or even later (the distributors are fantastic when it comes to deadlines). FNAC will send me an SMS when my copy is ready for lifting.

In fairness, Ubi did cause the Wii U owners quite a lot of grief, what with all the delays and the like, I'd assume this is a means of making it up to said owners.
Meh, I'm not fussed, I'm just glad they decided to give the game to everyone else as well, though I can sympathise with those who have been genuinely inconvenienced by the events that transpired.

I think it may be 29th or 30th. I think only America have it released on the 3rd of September.
