Hi. I recently got the GOG Rayman Forever, but the tracks played on the wrong places. After doing some research, I found out that the Forever version has a incomplete soundtrack, but it can be solved by downloading all the music files and moving them to a specific folder. I did that, and while now most areas play the correct music, it still feels incomplete, as all levels of each are play the same track, as opposed to the console versions, where, for instance, the forest level with the rising water has a different BGM from the very first level. Checking the music files I downloaded (of which there are 19, in contrast with the game's soundtrack, which has 50 tracks), it seems there's one track per area or "world" (ie: one for forest, one of the music land, etc.), which combines all different themes of the are from the console versions and segues between them. I don't like this, as I usually only get to listen to the first section as I beat each part before it gets to segue to another one. So I did more research and I stumbled upon these forums. Nice community BTW, I might start posting here often, as Rayman is one of my interests. Anyway, I saw people here claiming that in one of the re-releases of the PC version, Ubi combined the level themes into 19 tracks. So my question is: Is there a PC version that has one track per theme like the console versions and plays the BGMs in the correct levels? If so, is there any way of correcting this problem in RF so that it uses those tracks? Or if that's not possible, would anyone be willing to share the version with the "proper" music?
TL;DR version: Is there a PC version of Rayman 1 that has over 19 music tracks and properly plays each level's theme?
Thank you for your responses.
Rayman 1 PC with correct music?

Re: Rayman 1 PC with correct music?
Howdy and welcome to forum,
the Rayman 1 game that features the complete soundtrack (and it is the one that RayTunes extracted the musics in general) is the PlayStation 1 version. In PC, I believe that Rayman Collector is more complete in terms of musics, aswell the original Rayman 1 release for MS-DOS. I would advice you to try out any of these to see if it is what you are looking for in terms of music.
Also, you can try to install this patch created by emshomar, that fully restores the behaving of all the R1 games released for DOS to the Windows 95 computers.
You can download it from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/25ddd ... _v1.18.exe

Hi, I just have come to here because I had been notified about your problem. So in order to get the Rayman Mega Patch fully working you must install the recent version other members recovered. Due to the fact that the activation files are temporally down you'll need to manually activate it by using OCG's rip. Just make sure you overwrite the whole folder. You cannot use OCG's rip only because there are some files missing. Good luck! See ya in some weeks or so.
And no, the PC version had the tracks of each world combined into one track. There is no PC version that has seperated tracks. You still can give a try to Rayman Mega Patch, since it works way more advanced than GOG and any other patch.

I own the original Rayman for MS-DOS. It plays exactly the same as the other versions, but the cheats are different.Haruka wrote:Howdy and welcome to forum,
