I hadn't realized English members were posting there so I never looked further down from the main post, sad this had to happen.

Re: Off Topic
Online translators are indeed bad, but at least it can still help you understand some details.

Re: Off Topic
I put one of the sentences in that thread through a translator to double-check what it meant, and it completely f'ed up the meaning. I almost went into a long ranting rage in response to what I had 'read' but luckily double-checked with common sense to see the translator had completely screwed me over.

IDK the way Google are adding things like a handwriting tool that could come in handy even if the results can still be rough as all hell - better than going through millions of ideographs in character map.

They've released a Lost World trailer showing how the Deadly Six break lose, and why the Badniks aren't obeying Eggman.
Is it just me or does Mike Pollock convey Eggman with a more sinister edge this time?

Teehee fun tidbit I sat next to Mike Pollock at a pre-con night out before Summer of Sonic back in 2011.
Re: Off Topic
Is there Japanese version of this trailer? Nothing against English voice cast but I really prefer Jun'ichi Kanemaru as Sonic. I like his English accent on Japanese
Well after all Jun'ichi Kanemaru is English teacher in Japan as well.

The japanese version came out first, I'll just drop in to Sonic Retro and retrieve it for ya:
Re: Off Topic
So EPIC
I always play Sonic games on Japanese. It's just what I am used to since that is first Sonic voice I heared in my life.

Nice! His voice acting for Eggman is my favourite, he doesn't convey the same sinister edge that his predecessor did, but at the same time, his acting is still very true to the character, he conveys the insanity and genius of the character well, and can still sound rather threatening if needs be, while still allowing for the more humorous light-hearted moments to come through.Cairnie wrote:Teehee fun tidbit I sat next to Mike Pollock at a pre-con night out before Summer of Sonic back in 2011.
Hm, I can't remember when I first encountered Sonic, I think it was the 4Kids dub of Sonic X, which aired on Fox Kids here (later Jetix UK, now Disney XD UK), my first game was Sonic Heroes, so I did have a taste of the pre-4Kids voices, but I didn't really get to know the differences and attain a preference 'til I was able to experience more of the Sonic franchise.OldClassicGamer wrote:So EPIC
