I have to agree with you. I hope that [Raymesis is not DarkRay. Why change such cool name?]TFDs39 wrote:Everything will be revealed in less than 3 weeks, but yeah,[if Raymesis is DarkRay,they just fucked up his name.DarkRay was perfect for him in my opinion.]

Yeah multiplayer is another point entirely, I was just thinking from a single player's perspective. c: I still find the sudden switches to Murfy (big screen -> touchpad) kinda distracting when playing on the Wii U, on other versions he just comes in as a minor sidekick and doesn't get in the way of 'normal' gameplay. But again, preferences *shrug*sergiomonty wrote:Tried it at a friend's house. Hell no, it's not better in any single way to the Wii U version.
But hey, I must agree, the multitasking is not as punishing as I expected, it's actually pretty darn good. Hm, I still think that Murfy will be the big fucking deal in Wii U's multiplayer... in the other consoles.... eck... it's just... I mean... Everyone controls Murfy at the same time, that leads to a lot of confusion compared to the intuitive touchscreen mechanics.
Oh well, preferences I guess.

Plus, I think I should edit some names of my Animal Crossing designs...

Re: Rayman Legends
@Sergio I know it is not rocket science but it is just a speculation.
I admit I liked the multitasking in the PS3 version, but at the same time it was confusing since I was already used with the touch-screen interaction with Murfy in the Wii U. At least I'm relieved that the automatic Murfy works extremely well out of the Wii U. I believe the PC version will use the same mechanic.Tricai wrote:

Re: Rayman Legends
I can say with no doubt that[DarkRay from Origins wasn't scrapped. If you remember the video(< it's a link) I posted some time ago,you can see his sprites.I don't think they would remove him in the last moment. So:
1:DarkRay changed his name to Raymesis.
2.The creators decided to make a new character named Raymesis.(but I think the first one is most likely to happen)]

Re: Rayman Legends
I've been avoiding the picture of Naked Rayman but I just took a look at it out of curiosity and dear lord, I can't even. XD
Re: Rayman Legends
Just skimmed through the script and read some descriptions of the characters, some brought a little grin to face.
Re: Rayman Legends
I'm so angry about the 502 error
I hoped I'll listen the amazing music of Legends last night, but because of this error Droolie couldn't upload it.But he will do it today
Re: Rayman Legends
Haha, ['Raymesis']. That's a riot!
Re: Rayman Legends
@TFDs39: Yes, the errors are getting quite frustrating. :/
I'd already uploaded it here yesterday: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/%5Bflac| ... he-139199/
I'll start uploading it to RayTunes as well in a few minutes

Re: Rayman Legends
Right then, I got to try out the demo, but couldn't share my thoughts thanks to the accursed downtime.
Anyways, much like Origins, it looks much better when playing it yourself than watching it on YouTube, as well as being able to see the game in its proper 60 FPS smoothness. Graphically, I like it, the artwork fits together much better, and the presentation of levels make them feel rather vast and expansive, particularly in the Toad Story level.
Gameplay-wise, it's just the same Origins, though I see that they got rid of the duck-kick and replaced it with a duck-slap to the ground, and instead of having all the shoulder buttons be used for running, only R2 does it now, due to the need of the other shoulder buttons for other things, such as controlling Murphy. Murphy, well, he's only used in Teensies in Trouble, not anything else in the demo, from what I gathered, he's actually not as convoluted as some predicted, though it can be a little confusing at times, all in all, it's not that tricky, simply press circle to make him do a relevant action, of course, it's not the same as playing on the Wii U, but it is a more than capable means of getting through with the required ease needed.
I've also been competing a little, though I did do it in Co-op with my brother, managed to get some decent times, and beat Haruka's, if I recall.

I don't see it either, I don't think there is one, I don't remember a demo for PC being announced.
