Re: Nintendo Network ID
I wanna get Lost Worlds on 3DS but it will most likely ask for update and I want to mod my 3DS first.

*Worlds
To me, the game is just another reason to get a 3DS, I remain cautious about the Wii U, but the 3DS seems more promising.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
I'm amazed how... good the 3DS version of Lost Worlds looks, usually the portable adaption of a Sonic game usually feels a quick cash in, like Sonic Generations on the 3DS, and Sonic Colors on the DS, but THIS, this actually looks GOOD.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
What's funnier is that it's DIMPS still, the ones who've been behind many of the portable Nintendo Sonic games for the last couple of years, and Sonic 4, that are developing the 3DS version.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
I dislike that DIMPS does not include Dual Audio on their versions like Sega does on home consoles. But still, Sonic does not have bad English voice so it is ok. It's just that I am used to listening him in Japanese.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Storywise the Sonic series never interested me, it's the gameplay that truly gets me. Generations the voice acting was pretty awful, but the gameplay was spot on awesome.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
Generations's English is not the best in Sonic series but not the worst one either in my opinion. But Generations had Dual Audio support. Trust me, playing with English text and Japanese voices is best experiance, expecially if you are used to subtitles as a child.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
I still hold fast that I love Mike Pollock's acting for Eggman, mind you, though I admit not all the acting in Generations was good.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
My favourite English Eggman voice was from Sonic Adventure.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
He was very good indeed, but I prefer Mike solely because his acting could be funny and yet also be completely sinister, and he could change his tone where needed.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
I guess we can agree that both are good. But honestly, I like old English Sonic much better. Ryan Drummond is the only Sonic's voice that is actually on same quality level as Sonic's original Japanese voice in my opinion.

Re: Nintendo Network ID
Gotta say... Sonic Lost World looks freaking awesome. I think this is the first time in my life I'm gonna skip a Mario game for a Sonic game ._.

Why not play both?

Re: Nintendo Network ID
I guess financing can be much more of a limit to some than it is to others when purchasing games and the like.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
That is why I always buy used games.

Dude... I'm buying Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, Wonderful 101 and this on the same year... I can't handle that much.OldClassicGamer wrote:Why not play both?
FUCK YOU! I always credit the people who worked really hard in these games. Jesus.OldClassicGamer wrote:That is why I always buy used games.
(Not that doing that is wrong but... heck, Nintendo isn't on a financial situation to handle that kind of business... I prefer to support them)

Re: Nintendo Network ID
I buy new on release, but pre-owned if it's been a few months, though I barely buy games as is, it's more my brother who does so.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
I am never gonna buy brand new Nintendo game from store until they do not get rid of Region Locking. Right now, they do not deserve my money, so that is why I am always buying used versions.sergiomonty wrote:Dude... I'm buying Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, Wonderful 101 and this on the same year... As for other games it depends if I am a big fan of them or not. I do not have that much money so sometimes I am forced to buy used version of game even if I would like brand new one.

Yeah, Nintendo will totally change their mind when one person buys used games. Right.
Re: Nintendo Network ID
I am not saying I will make them change their mind. Heck there is a pettition with many people who signed that are protesting about this as well.
