I still for some reason prefer American cover, but for most Rayman games, I prefer European one. Expecially this case:
Image Why put Rayman 3 cover image on Rayman 2 port, and why is Rayman 3 model there?
Image Still wrong model of Rayman but at least they did not slap Rayman 3 cover image and at least did something original.

Yeah, now that I'm back in the EU I've noticed how many games have better covers. Especially with games like Epic Mickey 2 which is white and boring in the US, but epic and inviting in EU.

I have both an American and European copy of Rayman 3. Not sure why it, like Rayman DS, uses that ugly font.

To me this is how it goes from best to worse when it comes with covers
Japan > Europe > America
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is huge exception for me. However with ratings I do prefer ESRB over PEGI, but CERO is still best for me.

So the second episode of Rabbids Invasion aired and... I actually really liked it. The first short was really strange, but it was nice to see more than 4 Rabbids on the screen, and there was even a dude who was trying to kill the Rabbids, which I can totally get behind. The second short was the most forgettable one, but it was nice to see some actually conflict that the Rabbids were aware of. The third short was my favorite, and had some unexpected and funny gags in it, like the dancing airplanes and the arcade game part.

Overall, it was actually pretty good. Not great, but still better than most of the stuff Nickelodeon airs.

I much prefer the American cover, the background is at least relevant to the consensus of Rayman.

Background is better in American cover, but it looks so wrong to put it on cover of game that is remake of Rayman 2 in my opinion, hence the reason why I prefer European cover.

I meant to say that it looks so wrong to put the R3 background on game that is remake of R2.

You mean the Rayman 3 foreground? While you did indeed mention that the European cover uses a custom Rayman render, I don't see why that improves the fitness of the cover. The way I see it, the European cover has the Rayman 3 model and a nonsense, unrepresentative background. The American cover actually has a very Rayman 2-ish background, with the Rayman 3 model again. Given that the American version at least did something right, I'll give it more credit.

Meh, both covers just look awfully slapped together. What I prefer about the EU version is that the title at least looks like it's one thing. The US version is obviosuly just the Rayman title from R3 with a separate DS text pasted next to it. Gah fuck, it's like every single thing about Rayman DS is bad.

Title of European Rayman DS looks like European title of Rayman 3
Title of American Rayman DS looks like American title of Rayman 3

Mariotehplumber's brother :P
he is always funny to watch when you are bored.
One guy said in comment that his video is RPC in a nutshell. I don't get it.

I think his post is about the hatred for the Rabbids among Rayman fans.

I've never seen anyone rage on RPC about Rabbids like MTP's brother did in video.

Hm, I've seen the odd rage topic back when I shadowed RZ during the Rabbids era, but I can't remember much of it.

I doubt it, seeing that RZ has been host to a multitude of deletions, those threads have been lost to the ravages of time, however, there might be the odd thread here, but I'm not sure.

I watched the 3rd and 4th episode of Rabbids Invasion, and here's a shocker, they were not only good, but they introduced an actual, distinguishable character into it. It's a Rabbid with a red eye and a blue eye, who I think is supposed to be the Rabbid from the intro to RRR2, meaning that this might tie into the Rayman games. He acts like a general and constantly yells at the three Rabbids who follow him, but also does some stupid stuff too. He's actually kind of cute, and I'm glad to have a character that's an actual character

There was a clever build up to an elevator gag, and the Rabbids managed to make at least 4 people go insane.
