Re: Cartoon Shows
I absolutely love the new Mickey Mouse cartoons! They finally gave Mickey a soul again! Too bad there's so many people who hate them.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Never seen them, but really want to, as a kid I used to love the old disney cartoons. Especially the Donald Duck ones.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Hm, at the moment, Transformers: Prime has ended, there's just going to be a TV Movie to fully conclude it now, so, to replace that, I've started to watch Beware The Batman, it's actually rather good despite having a different status quo to what some would expect.

Re: Cartoon Shows
I might start watching the Batman animated series soon. I watched a few episodes a while ago, and I've heard outstanding things about it.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Donald Duck is better than Mickey the Mouse; he has a personality, at least!
Re: Cartoon Shows
I agree on that one. Mickey just tends to be bland as hell, while Donald throws some epic tantrums.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Although I admit I associate these characters moreso with comic books. I'm not huge on comic books in general, but when it comes to Disney, and mainly Don Rosa (but also Carl Barks and the more modern Massimo Fecchi), I'm a huge fucking nerd, like lol wowww so nerdy ~~
Jokes aside though, I'm a massive fan of Donald Duck comics, and have been reading them since I could read (so since I was like 4) - they're one of the biggest parts of my childhood and Donald is essentially one of my heroes. And not to mention Don motherfucking amazing Rosa!!

Re: Cartoon Shows
I usually like the spin-off Donald Duck comics a lot. There's two Italian ones I have, one where he's a PI and one where he's going underwater and meets Davy Jones, that are both fantastically drawn, and alluring to read (but maybe that's because it's Italian, which is a foreign language to me).
Re: Cartoon Shows
Today I got time to watch this, and I have to say I did not watch something awesome like this in a long time.GNineify wrote:Also, here's the preview episode of Wander Over Yonder!
Re: Cartoon Shows
I remember anticipating Wander Over Yonder since last summer. Watching the preview, it did not disappoint.
Re: Cartoon Shows
So when will show officialy start?
Re: Cartoon Shows
On September 13th.
Re: Cartoon Shows
The preview got 2.9 million views! Of course that Phineas & Ferb / Marvel crossover got more for obvious reasons, but I'm happy anyways and and and...

I'm pretty sure at least some people working on the show check out the tag. Either they're laughing or happy or outright horrified about the many headcanons and weird stuff me and my people put there.

Re: Cartoon Shows
I happened to search the tag and seen some artwork that made me experienced happy and both horrified by some pieces of artwork. Though your work is lovely, keep up the good work.
Also again your Invader Zim reminds me when I first discovered the show way back in 06 when Nicktoons started airing the 2nd season's finished episodes. I recall how many laughs I got from the show. If it weren't for IZ I wouldn't have the enjoyment out of dark humor and I wouldn't really had the art style that I have now. And adding to that Ed, Edd, and Eddy (my favorite cartoon of all time) also influenced me a lot with its character design (mostly the lips) and its slapstick humor.

Re: Cartoon Shows
It's amazing how favourite games and cartoons can teach about unique art styles. Thanks to especially Psychonauts, Invader Zim and somewhat Ed, Edd & Eddy too, my art style is no more monotonous and has become a mixture of all of these mentioned.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Honestly, I was shocked when Ed, Edd & Eddy ended. I bet if they continiued making more episodes it would still be popular.
Re: Cartoon Shows
I oppose to that. Ed, Edd, and Eddy ended perfectly the way it did which was with the movie. I don't think it needs more episodes.
