Re: Rayman Legends
People who order with amazon prime have a high chance of receiving it the day before actual release. It happened with me when I got pokemon white and white 2 from prime (yeah, I mentioned pokemon on a rayman forum, shoot me!)

Re: Rayman Legends
Here are my predictions of the reviews for Legends:
POSITIVE:
-The graphics look nice
-Lots of content
-Unique and well designed levels
-Good online mode
-Challenging but fair difficulty
-Fun to play with friends
-Wii U gamepad works well (Wii U version only)
NEGATIVE:
-No plot
-Too much collecting
-Online gets repetitive
-Playing with 4 people can get frustrating
-Uses too much content from Origins
-Controlling Murfy can be tough and distracting (PS3 and Xbox versions only)
-Later levels get too tough
Watch this will be incredibly accurate
My predicted score: 9/10

-Some of the best games don't even require a plot. At all. That didn't even affect Rayman Origins' generous score.Bionichute wrote: NEGATIVE:

-You clearly never played Donkey Kong 64. This is basically the same amount of collectables as Origins, only this time they're better distributed for the sake of variation.
-It entertained us for the first 3 months, that's enough for a platformer. Also, considering that there are more unlockables, there are more reasons to keep playing.
-Reasonable... but considering that every enemy has only 1 hit point, I don't see that as a major complaint
-OH GOD, A GENEROUS 70% OF AN OPTIMIZED VERSION OF ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL GAME, HOW MUCH OF A TORTURE... eh... no.
-Ehm... Kind of? Maybe they'll say Murfy is a very pointless gimmick in the PS3/360 version, but not really distracting.
-Isn't that like... a main rule in gaming? In Rayman Origins, the game might become though, but it doesn't cross the barrier of fairness, come on.
My prediction score: 9.8/10
Most of your points were truly inaccurate.

Re: Rayman Legends
Those honestly weren't my points. I was predicting what REVIEWERS would say about the game. I'm perfectly fine with all the "negative" things I said, it's just what I think reviewers are going to say about, that's why I said reviewer PREDICTIONS.sergiomonty wrote:Most of your points were truly inaccurate.
Also the collecting in Origins and Legends won't be anywhere near as frustrating as DK64's was.

Even though I really disliked the dumbass review that IGN gave to Wonderful 101, I don't think reviewers are that stupid to give a game like Rayman Legends a score lower than 9.0 , especially when on every single preview they use the word "gorgeous".

Re: Rayman Legends
Well, each review website I've seen on the internet have a positive and negative box, so that's kind of why I made that list, just to predict what would be in those little boxes.sergiomonty wrote:Even though I really disliked the dumbass review that IGN gave to Wonderful 101, I don't think reviewers are that stupid to give a game like Rayman Legends a score lower than 9.0 , especially when on every single preview they use the word "gorgeous".

I doubt the game is gonna be one of those. I still think Galaxy 1 was better, too.sergiomonty wrote:There are games like Mario Galaxy 2 and The Last of Us...

I want RL to get 10/10
Re: Rayman Legends
I already love Legends from what I seen. I'm going to go right out and say this will be my favorite Rayman game.

Re: Rayman Legends
Sure. Why not?
Unfortunately, I couldn't go to Best Buy today, but I will be going early in the morning before I got to my classes. Mom seems to be really on board with getting the Wii U. She's even going to get one she and dad can share (they play Wii sports a lot), so I'd say I'll definitely see you all on the Miiverse.

Re: Rayman Legends
Ever since Wii U was announced I had very negative opinion on console, but now, my feelings are confused. Well, there are many Japanese Auction Sites and if I see it for cheap I might get it. I am from now on buying only Japanese versions of Nintendo products. Not gonna repeat same mistake that I did with 3DS.

If you don't get the challenges app in less than a week, you might not get Afro Rayman u_uEarth Gwee wrote:Sure. Why not?

Re: Rayman Legends
Man, mostly everyone's getting a Wii U. I think the Wii U will be the best version and I even had a chance to play it a local retailer and it's by far the best way to play RL. Also is the PC version of Murphy only controlled by buttons?
Re: Rayman Legends
Sadly yes. I expected PC version to be third best after Wii U and Vita version but it is on same level as PS3 and 360 version. Using mouse for Murphy would be much better
