But yet Gourmand Land seems to be in Fiesta in los Muetros.

Re: Rayman Legends
ok, i have POSSIBLY, some bad bad news...it seems that RL could've been delayed to sept. 12... http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/ ... p/19613240 BUT, don't take it too serious because it may be a rumor. i just thought i'd post it for others to see..
Re: Rayman Legends
On Steam, it says it will unlock on 29th August.
Re: Rayman Legends
It's true - my store's page lists it too, but only for the Vita version.globolk wrote:ok, i have POSSIBLY, some bad bad news...it seems that RL could've been delayed to sept. 12... http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/ ... p/19613240 BUT, don't take it too serious because it may be a rumor. i just thought i'd post it for others to see..
Re: Rayman Legends
Is 360 full version yet leaked?
Re: Rayman Legends
Hehe, nope. I keep checking too, as I expect it won't take long now... maybe it'll happen tonight, maybe tomorrow. It would be weird if Rayman Legends was the only game they can't get their hands on days before it comes out.OldClassicGamer wrote:Is 360 full version yet leaked?

Re: Rayman Legends
I think Back to Origins only counts as time travel. I mean, everything can't be the same after 100 years.
Re: Rayman Legends
Back to Origins is not even a canon. It is just something included in game as extra. It has nothing to do with 100 years nap or time travel.

Re: Rayman Legends
The only ones I really agree with for the 100 years theory are the Fiesta de los Muertos and 20,000 Lums Under the Sea worlds. The first is basically a run down, rotted version of the Infernal Kitchens, while the second is just the same, but with a giant underwater base in it. Gloo Gloo shows that the two worlds are very similar.

You can't possibly know that.OldClassicGamer wrote:Back to Origins is not even a canon. It is just something included in game as extra. It has nothing to do with 100 years nap or time travel.

Re: Rayman Legends
Is "even a canon" the right way to phrase it? I've always phrased it as "not even canon."
Either way, as it stands, we only know that it features Origins levels with a Legends twist, there could be something greater to it, though I personally doubt it.

Re: Rayman Legends
"Even a canon" would imply that Back to Origins is an entire canon all on its own.
Re: Rayman Legends
Maybe they are simply revisiting the places.

That's the problem.Haruka wrote:Maybe they are simply revisiting the places.
Re: Rayman Legends
Maybe only part of the Desert of Dijiridoos has been transformed into a waste.
Maybe only part of the Infernal Kitchen has been taken over by the dead.
Maybe the enemies Rayman defeated in Rayman Origins have come back to exactly the same places they were in 100 years ago.
Maybe Rayman returned there especially to fight the bosses again.
... Nope. I will not accept this as canon. Not that canon has ever been a big issue for the developers.
Sure, they could try to explain it as some kind of dream Rayman has, or the paintings could be portals into other dimensions (as shown in the E3 trailer and explained in the old version of the plot), but whatever it is, it would be a silly explanation, and honestly, why bother? Does anybody really care whether a bonus section is canon or not?
Similarly, did Foutch really fight with Rayman again in Revolution's Ray-Type challenge? Is that even considered canon?

Re: Rayman Legends
This Infinite Tower level from Droolie's footage is from Teensies in Trouble world, the music is the first world's invaded tune.
Re: Rayman Legends
For the Ray-Type thing, I only think of it as Foutch and all the things Rayman "fights" in the infinite space as an illusion that merely served as a test to Rayman's skills. Just like Jano did to Rayman to get the Elixir of Life.

Re: Rayman Legends
"Canonical" is the actual word for describing something that's true within a fictional world, but people seem to use "canon" as an adjective for some unfortunate reason.Master wrote:Is "even a canon" the right way to phrase it? I've always phrased it as "not even canon."

Re: Rayman Legends
Back to Origins is just an extra feature for us to play. Nothing more.
