Re: Rayman Legends
If my OCGAnime channel really gets payed $219 at September like my network told me, I might get Wii U much earlier. Only problem is where will I find space for console. The Partnership on that channel is different then on my main so I am wondering how will that turn out for me. I don't think I will buy PS3 version. What about others who are getting PC and Wii U version. Are you getting third version or not?
Re: Rayman Legends
Yes but at this point it's nonsense. I can understand speculating things like "what if the Dark Teensies are the offspring of Mr. Dark" or "Barbara is actually Betilla's stripper daughter" or the final boss and ending, but the contains of that last world are in fact already known *mostly* and there's no real reason to wonder about that one thing.Bionichute wrote:It's called speculation, asshat.Rulez wrote:This sounds crazy, but... how about we wait for the fucking game and see for ourselves?
Re: Rayman Legends
I just watched that on tumblr, Rayman creeps me out, did they really had to put the face like that on him. Other than that its pretty well done.Haruka wrote: EDIT 2: Oh my, someone did a real-life Rayman Legends video:
Since my dad is able to work again I have more chances to get the game on release day here, really happy about that.

Indeed, the excitement mounts, as well as the crushing disappointment that I'll only have this weekend to try it out proper before returning to the usual cycle of education, but, important sacrifices.

Re: Rayman Legends
The third part of that Let's Play. It covers a bit of Toad Story, and from what I've seen, it's going to be my least favorite world, like how the Desert of Didgeridoos was my least favorite world in Origins. Doesn't mean it isn't fun looking.
Also that painting at the end there is badass.

Re: Rayman Legends
Mother of fuck this is brilliant, when I read the title I expected it to be some cheesy acting, but hot damn, they even MANAGED to get Rayman fucking perfect. Though I do think that was a bit of a poor choice for the Grand Minimus, the effects were pretty top notch.Haruka wrote:EDIT 2: Oh my, someone did a real-life Rayman Legends video:
as for the new walkthroughs I'll be ignoring them, I can't spoil anymore really.

Re: Rayman Legends
Well, there are only four buttons on Spiraldoor's brain. 1. Complain 2. Argue 3. Think he's right. 4. Be a cranky IrishBionichute wrote:Who gives a shit? You're just complaining to complain.spiraldoor wrote:That's actually brilliant. How the hell could they have thought "Castle Rock" was an improvement? It's like they're trying to use the blandest, least Rayman-like names they can imagine.
I still love him, though.
...
Just kidding, I actually think he's an asshole.
No. Dragon Slayer sounds freaking awesome.Rulez wrote: You gotta admit they chose bland names.
Dude... Black Betilla sounds racist.... Well, not really, but you know how people react to that kind of stuff. They obviously decided to avoid that kind of controversial issues.spiraldoor wrote:I want evocative and distinctive names matching the high standards of those in the previous games. It's a shame to see them come up with a clever double reference and then discard it in favour of something utterly forgettable. Complaining to complain? Hardly. If that's all I was after I could tear this game to shreds. This is constructive criticism.Bionichute wrote:Who gives a shit? You're just complaining to complain.
I don't even understand why are you criticizing a game for the names of its levels. Rayman 1 had probably the corniest names of all of the franchise. Pink Plant Woods.... pfffffffffffffft

Kidding or not, I'd be a bit careful what you say to the mods. :/
Re: Rayman Legends
Spiral is a mod? Why is his username the same color like for regular user? Just asking.

Re: Rayman Legends
LOL, I totally forgot he left the modding community sometime ago, my bad. Still though, Spiral is rather good in the arguements.

He was an English mod,but when Master,Serza,Hoodcom and Adsolution became mods,he turned into a regular member.OldClassicGamer wrote:Spiral is a mod? Why is his username the same color like for regular user? Just asking.

Will he ever return being a mod?
Re: Rayman Legends
Fucking Sergio, Dragon Slayer is kinda fine but the regular level names aren't even too descriptive, whereas Rayman 1 described the area at least a bit, like Bongo Hills. And it didn't have names as forgettable as Origins did.

Dragon Slayer is far from fine. In fact, I'd almost say that it beats Origins' ‘Dashing Thru the Snow’ when it comes to unoriginality.Rulez wrote:Fucking Sergio, Dragon Slayer is kinda fine but the regular level names aren't even too descriptive, whereas Rayman 1 described the area at least a bit, like Bongo Hills. Re: Rayman Legends
Dragon Slayer reminds me more about Fairy Tail than Rayman, honestly.
Re: Rayman Legends
Well I said it's fine because it's a musical stage (I think?) and those are kinda special/different, just like Sergio.
The regular level names are my main complaint. The names have little to do with really describing the level.
