It is broken for me as well. I don't see Miku and Luigi like before.
Re: Rayman Legends
Nor do I see Des/Dora.

It was mine too. I think the elevator-grade music was a big part of the problem.Haruka wrote:I think the Gourmand Land (Glaciar Cocktail) was my least favourite world in Origins. I can't find an explanation for it, but it might be linked with the ice physics or the level design, I'm not quite sure.

It's the fault of the random image generator site. I'll fix it later.Rayrobi wrote:It is broken.Master wrote:Ah, so you're still waiting, you and me both.

My favourite world from Origins is Mystical Peak because of the atmosphere of climbing the mountain and also the Sea of Serendipity for its music and these underwater cave sections.

Re: Rayman Legends
The Mystical Pique is my favourite world for the same reasons as you. I think it was one of the worlds with bigger approach to the Glade's atmosphere we are used to, and I felt nostalgic when playing it since the mountains were remembering me the Blue Mountains of Rayman 1, and the return of the Stonemen only rised up this feeling even more.Drolpiraat wrote:Out of all the worlds in Origins, I think I liked Mystical Pique the most - mainly because it was the world with the most atmosphere (the interior at least), with the second (and also my second favourite) being the Infernal Kitchen in Gourmand Land. Glacier Cocktail was bland as Hunch says, and I also really didn't like the music there. I also agree with you about Jibberish Jungle, Haruka. It's too "normal" - too bland, but not as much as Glacier Cocktail. I like how they've added surreal elements (the walking pieces of land) and more colours to the jungle world in Rayman Legends though
The Glacier Cocktail was quite boring in terms of level design so it stands for my least favourite world (subworld in this case) . Funny enough, I liked more the Infernal Kitchen while these two places belong to the Gourmand Land. I think the level design had more interesting mechanics, and had some fitting elements of the atmosphere of the Glade.
I also liked the moving lands in the Jibberish Jungle despite of its greenish look, but I think RL will improve both elements in Teensies in Trouble's hub of worlds.

Re: Rayman Legends
I think it was perfectly fitting. All I saw was a bunch of Ice and some fruits floating in the water, but that music autentically gave the feel of a fresh cocktail in a tropical island. It's just pure classiness. One of my favourite pieces of soundtrack of Rayman Origins. You don't usually hear music like that on a videogame.spiraldoor wrote:It was mine too. Actually Dashing Thru the Snow sounds kind of awesome-ish...

Eh... Haruka...Haruka wrote:@Evan I found the Jibberish Jungle too green, it felt more being on an Earthling landscape rather than in a Gladish one, if you know what I mean.
Look at this landscape from the Dream Forest. There is so many colour!
While in here...
Uhm... Yeah.
Re: Rayman Legends
@Sergio The only difference I spot in your picture with my picture of RO is the single group of purple leaves but that's just a drop of colour. It stays with blue and green tones just like my first picture, and both are totally earthling. If you look again to the R1 image...

It isn't just everything flooded in green and blue. There is a good ammount of purple, there is a good ammount of ocres, there are variations of green and blues, and all fit harmoniously. Jibberish Jungle and Ticklish Temples failed in this.

@Haruka R1 had better colors I agree

Re: Rayman Legends
I think my least favorite world is Moody Clouds. All the levels are easy, but when you get there, the difficulty goes too hard.
Re: Rayman Legends
For some reason Gourmand Land isn't my favourite either, however i'm not saying i dislike it. The fresh, icy landscape with fruits looks pretty neat in my opinion, the music sounds great, the part I actually dislike is the infernal kitchen-area.
And while i agree with Haruka that the forest aren't as colorful as they are in Rayman 1, and that they should be more colorful in future games, i think it looks good enough and fits in perfectly with the environment. In Rayman 1, the background were sometimes too much colorful, and they weren't fitting in.

Everyone has their opinions, but if you think about it, you wouldn't give that name to a place. Like already said above, the names like "Bongo Hills" or Swamps of the Forgetfulness" etc. were kinda fitting to the levels, and they were names of both levels and places and that how it should be in my opinion ( well, mostly ).sergiomonty wrote:Actually Dashing Thru the Snow sounds kind of awesome-ish...![]()

Re: Rayman Legends
I'm neutral about the Moody Clouds. What annoys me most in there are the "invincible" robots, and I obviously criticize the last levels. On the other hand I enjoyed its "tougher" level design and steampunk atmosphere (both graphically and musically).
Re: Rayman Legends
What a lovely trailer. The song is pretty damn catchy.

It sounds more like the name of a Power Metal band.
Oh well... I once watched Fairy Tail... it sucked. Seems like every shounen has the exact same plot nowadays.

Re: Rayman Legends
The pop-styled blue presentation with sparkles at the end seemed unfitting. It seems like something that would fit better on a Just Dance commercial than... let's say, a game about legends and dragons. The music was terribly unfitting with the game in general, but the cool transitions and the catchiness of the song made me forgive that.
