Re: Rayman Legends
I just got the game yesterday and I must say, damn what a hell of a game! =D
It's so freaking awesome :3
I've got the pc version and I set up glovePie so I can play with a wiiremote and nunchuck.
The game is so big! :O There are the worlds, the back to origins worlds, minigames, challenges, etc.
LOVE IT! =D

Re: Rayman Legends
I actually posted a link for the cover but ok. ^^'
I finished Toad Story a few minutes ago, now it is the Fiesta de los Muertos that I'm starting.

Re: Rayman Legends
So far I finished Teensies in Trouble and 3 Back to Origins levels. I'm also on my way to get a diamond cup for the daily challenge, but there's a lot of time left so I expect it to be a short victory. I think I'll stop playing for now - looking forward to doing Toad Story tomorrow
I love most of it, except this:
- Murfy's AI isn't perfect at all. He doesn't always go to the platform you want him to move.
- The Teensies are nearly as common as the Lums in Rayman 2. Speaking of Lums - there's far too much of them as well.
(apart from the usual complaints like the absence of the story, atmosphere, world immersion, etc)
By the way, did anyone notice the non-rabbid rabbit in the Enchanted Forest? That's a first in the Rayman series, isn't it? :p

Because OCG is an otaku and for him everything japanese (Even if isn't original from japan) is better.Rayrobi wrote:@OCG i don't see your point why the japanese cover would be better. :/

Gah! I still haven't been able to get a Wii U! Why must the universe be so cruel?

-I don't really see the Teensies as a bad thing, I think the amount is perfect to increase our curiosity and spirit of exploration. In fact, I would say it's perfect. If you mean it in terms of population, hey, it's okay, it's been 100 years, they had the possibility to reproduce, and that's demonstrated since this is the first game to show more than one female teensy and some teensy kids. And about the Lums, we made clear long ago that they're wild species
-Yes, I noticed it! it's actually interesting. Did you also see the squirrel? and the owl that turns its head vertically and not horizontally?
Re: Rayman Legends
All I still have are the 360 and PC demos, but I can already tell that Murfy is a Nintendo fanboy.

Re: Rayman Legends
[Oh man I really want to see Teensie Hermit and UbiRay. Anybody have a link where I can see them?]
Re: Rayman Legends
I can say that so far on PC I hadn't major problems with Murfy's AI, only in very rare situations but it was easily solved by approaching to the target I wanted him to go.
Re: Rayman Legends
I got the game since Thursday. Played through Teensies in Trouble and Toad Story now. It'll probably become my favorite Rayman game next to Rayman 3. It's just freakin' good and pretty big too!
Also, due to playing over 90 hours of the Challenges App since like Frebruary (you can transfer your progress), I got a head start with Awesomeness level 10 and got straight to position 18 in the leaderboards.

Re: Rayman Legends
i'll have the game next thursday. i was wondering, will the amount of lums i've gotten from the challenges app will be transfered to the final game? i know the awesomeness level and cups, but lums too? i have enough to unlock a MAJORITY of the characters in legends... also, do the 90 levels in the game include invasion levels? because i've already spoiled 16 levels, is that, like half the game?!

Nope, sadly Lums won't transfer to the full game. Though you'll get 50.000 Lums and an exclusive Funky Rayman skin as a thanks for playing the Challenge App. For Invasion levels, well, I'm not entirely sure yet. But from what I've seen so far, most 'regular' levels in the main story paintings will eventually come with an Invasion level once you've cleared more levels in each world.globolk wrote:i'll have the game next thursday. i was wondering, will the amount of lums i've gotten from the challenges app will be transfered to the final game? i know the awesomeness level and cups, but lums too? i have enough to unlock a MAJORITY of the characters in legends... also, do the 90 levels in the game include invasion levels? because i've already spoiled 16 levels, is that, like half the game?!
Basically, the idea is that enemies from later worlds will 'invade' levels from earlier worlds and vice-versa. For example, the toads from Toad Story may invade a level in Teensies in Trouble, and the Lividstones from that world will eventually invade a level in Toad Story. I'm guessing this trend will continue once I play the other worlds (like those cheery Muerto skeletons from the third world and demo Invasion) but I cannot confirm.

Re: Rayman Legends
Enemies from each of the five main world will cross over with each other in invasion levels, then there are the few which feature [DarkRay2].
Anyways, nice to hear from an Oldbie, nice to meet you! I also saw another oldbie lurking around earlier, one with a familiar name, Pok2, the fellow behind the WantedRayman fansite, right?

i know about funky ray and invasion levels, but what i'm mostly concerned about, is if i spoiled half the game already... i know at least SOMEONE has already won the game now!Newray wrote:Ah, CTW it was then, haha. I don't know how many levels there literally are. But all new games are 'won' by some people the day they arrive. Just watch out with YouTube.globolk wrote:i know about funky ray and invasion levels, but what i'm mostly concerned about, is if i spoiled half the game already... i know at least SOMEONE has already won the game now!

Re: Rayman Legends
I am liking this game so much. I just wish I can change my Nickname. Steam has that option and UPlay should too.
I am finding challanges more interesting then main game
All of the Wii U owners were so lucky to get challange app.
