Better than rayman's 1 and 3? :?
I find your exclusion of Rayman 2 (especially when having Rayman 3 on the list) to be even more boonworthy than Rayrobi's post.
Why is my post boonworthy? I was sure it will be the best Rayman ever made, as i watched plenty of trailers, gameplay demos and played a lot with the demo, so i was sure it is the best Rayman game, playing and completing it proved this. However this game and Rayman 1 are so different in gameplay so i can't really compare them in every aspect, but the thing is that i actually liked Rayman Legends more than i did Rayman 1.

Rabbids level is scrapped right? Are at least some Rabbids models found in game files? What about Exclusive costumes of Mario and Luigi? Many games have same data in all versions but cannot be accesed (good example is SFXT), so can those costumes be found in PC files?
There are no rabbids levels, and there are no Moskito-levels excluding the Origins ones.

Well anyway, what are your times in the weekly extreme challenge? This one seems to be the by far the hardest to obtain the diamond trophy, and the 1st place seems impossible on X360. My time is 14.46, the first is 13.81. So what are yours?

So far I really love how non-linear the game is. You're always unlocking new levels somewhere else, whether in the main worlds or in Back to Origins, challenges, creatures, characters... All these gimmicks such as the awesomeness level are actually quite nice and make you want to collect as many cups as possible. Since the game, just like Origins, has an extremely weak story (or no story at all), they took advantage of it to focus almost exclusively on the game design and the result is very pleasant.
When it comes to the levels themselves, well I haven't been further than Fiesta de los Muertos, which happens to be my favourite world so far. [That first level, What the Duck?, where the character is turned into... a duck (that made me laugh big time), reminded me of Candy Château just like the Desert of Dijiridoos made me feel in Band Land, and the idea of Murfy eating cake is brilliant. I'm fine with more Murfy levels if they keep innovating like this, which wasn't the case with the Moskito levels in Origins.]

[ Totally agreed, I'm all for Murfy levels. What's funny is how murfy levels were actually bashed by gamespot for having 'no innovation', seriously, fuck them.]

@Rayrobi The boon wasn't directed to you actually.

I admit I am more fan of the Fiesta de los Muertos than the Infernal Kitchen now. The atmosphere is much more colorful and with more interesting level designs. I also think that [ the idea of Murfy eating cake is quite original, I did like this detail ]. Moskito levels of RO did lack variety, you weren't doing anything else except for shooting to kill enemies, it ended up dull. I think RO had too many Moskito levels, I wouldn't have minded if it was a minor number.

Like what Adsolution said, it would have been nice to have 2 or 3, y'know? Maybe one at the beginning, second in the middle, and third on the last. For me it totally took away from the main gameplay aspect.

Just started playing Legends by myself on my laptop. I don't like the use of Murfy as a puzzle element at all. I'm sure it's fun if you're playing with friends, but alone it's a chore to have to manipulate the environment through him. Ray and the Beanstalk is a nice level. I'm liking the two suns and the spindly-legged Dalí-esque guys in the distance. The little fish that jumps out of the water near the start of the level looks kind of like Steve Buscemi. Héral seems to be ripping off his own Beyond Good & Evil score in places – I wish he'd given us some of this in Origins.

I'm jealous, I have to wait until the third to even play the game. :(

I think the Murfy thing is funnier in Wii U, afterall it was where it was originally planned for. I can say there's a level in Olympus Maximus I had trouble to control both Murfy and Rayman at the same time though.

I find Murfy to be rather difficult to work with. Half the reason I die in levels is because i'm either too focused on punching an object and forget to use Murfy or vice versa. I'm not completely against it but it is rather bothersome at times.

I can recommend my key-mapping of Murfy that I setted up on PC:

Murfy action: D

Murfy twisting left: Left Ctrl

Murfy twisting right: Right Ctrl

This combined with my Rayman 1/2 controls of jumping with A, running with S and attacking with Space.

Whoa great! Me and my brother are also first in his profile on Xbox, and soon in mine too

@Haruka i would rather say LeftCtrl for running, A to jump and Space to hit, and leave Murfy as it is, Q, W, and E.

Rayman Legends with keyboard is a hell for me. I recommend using 360 controller.

I honestly think I'd have more trouble with Murfy on the wii U version, although only because of my hand eye coordination which is awful, personally I've had no trouble controlling him on the PC version with a keyboard (the only key I rebinded was jump to A) and I think he's a great gimmick, a gimmick, but one that I like, I actually had to think things through before using him sometimes.

Anyway, you're probably all dying to know what I think of the game, especially seeing how I had a passionate hatred for Origins (with good reason, in my eyes anyway) so you'll be surprised to hear I actually love Legends, I really love it, I love it more than Rayman 3, I love it more than Rayman 1, heck, I may even love it more than Rayman 2 but I can't say for sure.

I'll have to try it with that then. :D

Play all the levels multiple times, getting the gold score each time. That's how I got all the characters in the challenges app.

For those who don't want to risk being spoiled about this one certain thing, it's about an unlockable character that seems to be unlockable neither via Lums nor Teensies.
