Re: UPlay thread
Watch dogs looks awesome.
The thing with AC, I really could simply never get into it's slow paced gameplay, it seems like it'd better fit a movie than a game for me.

Re: UPlay thread
Ever since I completed AC 1, I wished for movie.

Re: UPlay thread
Well then why don't create a new account with the name OodClassicGamer?
Re: UPlay thread
hmm, I don't know. Maybe because my product key is activated with current account?

Re: UPlay thread
Oh yeah your right. But isn't it possible to transfer the activation to another account? Maybe you should contact the support team to transfer your product key.
Re: UPlay thread
That is impossible. And I don't feel like bothering with support because unlike Blizzard, they don't have free phone number. Plus I don't want to lose Awesomeness level, friends and leaderboard statistics. What UbiSoft should do is let us change display name like Steam does. It is still very unprofessional do have 2 different registration links and that on one there is 14 characters limit and on another 15.

Re: UPlay thread
Just so you know TFD I'm not ignoring your friend request, the Uplay website won't display friends requests for some reason so I'll look for workarounds.
Re: UPlay thread
Launch UPlay application for PC and you will be able to accept requests.
Anyways, UPlay support is really retarded. This is my conversation with them:
Me: "Hello, I would like to tell you a problem with Uplay I have. I noticed that it says that 15 characters are limit for username however when I registred, I could only enter 14 so I am now stuck with bad username. I wanted my username to be OldClassicGamer, but when I try to type letter "r" at the end, it does not display. Please help me. I am known on all websites as OldClassicGamer and here now I am stuck as OldClassicGame. I have game Rayman Legends for PC and when I enter challanges, I really wish my display name was OldClassicGamer and not OldClassicGame. Microsoft let people change username on Xbox Live if they pay so can I do same thing here? Even now when I try to register it does not let me type OldClassicGamer. I saw other people with 15 character long name so please help me."
Some guy named Peter: "Hello there, Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Technical Support. In order to respond to this email, please update this incident (Please do not create a new incident). Unfortunately, we cannot change your username, please be aware that changing your username will cause problems accessing games you have already linked to the account and due to this fact, we cannot make any changes to your username. Please note: Unfortunately, there is no way change your Username in U-play account. Thanks for the understanding. If you have any further queries or issues please do not hesitate to contact us again and we will assist you further. Kind Regards, Peter Ubisoft Technical Support."
Me: "Ok, I understand that it would cause problem in games, but why is there a problem with 15 character long names? On registration page, it says 15 characters is maximum. Go here and try typing "OldClassicGamer" https://secure.ubi.com/register/CreateA ... lang=en-US It does not work. Letter "r" wont display. And how can changing username cause problem with games? When Microsoft changes username on Xbox Live, all games work fine. Also why not have ID name same (in my case OldClassicGame) but let people change Display name (Nickname) Steam does that and it is really great feature.

Me: "As I asked before what kind of problems would it cause? As I said, Microsoft is changing usernames just fine and there is no problem in linked games. So I am wondering what problem could it cause here? Also what about my suggestion about having nickname seperated from username like Steam does?

What the hell is up with his answers?
He avoided answering what problems would it cause and why not have seperate nickname from ID name? This is just a proof that they are lazy to fix mistakes on UPlay and they don't care

Re: UPlay thread
Those answers are called automatic replies. Typical in technical supports.
I wonder if it is possible to change the e-mail in an account.

Re: UPlay thread
Yes. I have a friend who asked them and they changed his e-mail.
