Well it's been half a year since my last post, and it feels like it's been so long that I can barely remember what I put on here before. Honestly I haven't really been working on this until just recently. At one point I decided that I didn't like the stuff I had done so far and that I would just start over fresh with the new skills and techniques I've been learning in school and on my own (EDIT: apparently I said the same thing half a year ago, but now I'm sticking with my plan this time). So now my whole approach to this project has dramatically changed, and I have a pretty clear idea of what I'm doing for all of the shorts and intro and stuff. Don't hold your breath though, I still have a long way to go before finishing this.

Remember that fight scene I made, and how I said I was going to remake it? Well I decided to take it even further and animate it in 3D! I have the characters done, except rigging for Rayman's face.

I also have a really short (and stupid) skit finished that I animated in Photoshop.

I'm done with the intro as well, including a music remake kinda like I did in the last one.

Like I said though, I still have a lot of work to put in before there's any real progress, so just lay back and don't get too excited yet.

Working on an Origins related skit. Recorded the voices today. Also did this backdrop, like in the trailer, a few days ago.
This is in half size, as I'm planning to make the project in 720HD.

I missed the latest update it seems. Utterly fantastic work on those models! It's amusing how much your Rayman model looks like your drawings of him, it's virtually identical.

I think that's what's happening with this one. It happened with the last one, too.

Oh damn, I didn't realize. I thought it was just the same animator trying to draw it in different styles with each game.

Well LL's last Rayman randimation had 3 people, only I hate to admit this, one style looked extremely bland, while LL and the last one were good. I hope Lightning Lion will managed to get a lot of people on board for this one. Make it as good as Sonic Shorts maybe.
