I believe most of people here think it is Developer only. I don't blame them since that is how things indicate judging that French players uses him and only small amount. However, part of me believes it is possible to unlock him. Same for 2D Nightmare.
Re: Rayman Legends
Exactly how would that work if there is no text even mentioning Ubi Ray in the game? That means there's no painting to jump into and change to Ubi Ray. :/OldClassicGamer wrote:I believe most of people here think it is Developer only. Re: Rayman Legends
Well, in Gallery of Heroes, we don't see paintings of Barbara's Sisters either before unlocking them. Same for Gold Teensie. He was only shown after getting all other Teensies in the game.
Re: Rayman Legends
Yes, but when they were unlocked, there was text for them, right? All of that text is in the script. But there is no mention of Ubi Ray. Which means there can't be any text describing Ubi Ray in the game. So either you unlock a painting without any text (extremely unlikely), or you don't unlock him at all.OldClassicGamer wrote:Well, in Gallery of Heroes, we don't see paintings of Barbara's Sisters either before unlocking them. So if I may ask, why is it that everyone just absolutely hates Ubisoft Uplay service? I actually find it quite a cool service, really cool how in-game achievements can give you Uplay points which you can spend on prizes for your game and such.
Re: Rayman Legends
Hey I got a question, am I the only one who's creatures doesn't give anything daily like they are supposed to? Cause mine only give the tokens and lums once I get them but then never does after.

If you have the Wii U version, you have to create a second nintendo account. That's your second save fileRayfist wrote:So today, me and my Dad were considering starting RL until we figured out... RAYMAN LEGENDS ONLY HAS ONE SAVE FILE. Fuck...
Welp, that definetly has to be listed as a con.

Re: Rayman Legends
If you're not an every-day gamer, required services like that are just annoying. The fact that it's actually running through two (Steam and then UPlay) makes if even more so.Rayfist wrote:So if I may ask, why is it that everyone just absolutely hates Ubisoft Uplay service? Re: Rayman Legends
I guess that makes sense, that was kind of a gripe I had with Games for Windows Live as well, I can see why a lot of games on GWFL (excluding GTA IV sadly...) are moving to steamworks now. Would be nice if RL and other Ubisoft titles would move to steamworks. Oh well. Though I don't think that has anything to do with being a every-day gamer, since I'm seeing every-day gamers complaining about it regardless.
Re: Rayman Legends
Did anyone else see how some people have 1000 000 000 lums on the 360, its lame of them to cheat.

Re: Rayman Legends
It does have something to do with it though, because if you aren't a heavy gamer, then you won't even really have use for the mildly useful services it does provide.Rayfist wrote:Though I don't think that has anything to do with being a every-day gamer, since I'm seeing every-day gamers complaining about it regardless.
Re: Rayman Legends
Actually focusing on them a bit more, I can say they are indeed smaller. Small as R1's Anti-Toons, a very nice reference to the first game.TFDs39 wrote:They also have different voices and can kill you easier.Drolpiraat wrote:I quite liked that the Darktoons look smaller now, it's as if they tried to make them look more like Rayman 1's Antitoons.Henchman1028 wrote:Yeah. Some of the updated sprites in Back To Origins look good, others look a little... off.ZeptoRay wrote:They do looks smaller, and those blue snake things with pincer mouth looks gigantic now, i almost screamed when I saw them. As for the LDP, I completed them easily but suffered from a headache after I stopped playing. The world was mildly fun to say the least.

Re: Rayman Legends
So I was playing the Luchador boss fight for the 4th or 5th time, and I just noticed something, he has a tattoo that says "Kingo" on his left arm. So I guess his name is Kingo and not El Chili.
Re: Rayman Legends
Because of their idiotic glitch in the system that limited username to 14 characters instead of 15. There are two registration links. One of them works normal but the other one does not. Like how was I supposed to know that?Rayfist wrote:So if I may ask, why is it that everyone just absolutely hates Ubisoft Uplay service? Re: Rayman Legends
Their website facilities are sucky to such an extent that I actually wonder if it's purposely done to force one into getting the desktop client.
Re: Rayman Legends
Just reached 1.000.000 Lums!
They made it very hard for casual players, ugh. Now I just have to level my rank to lvl 11 >.> it's gonna take a while even with diamonds... Im very happy that this game has challenges, I hope that they will keep that part of the game to their future Rayman games, having a score system worked well too for Rayman 3.
I may write a full review of the game soon.

I just managed to get a quadruple gold, and I'm only 150 points away from level 11!
