Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Yeah, rabbids invasion is becoming more interesting per episode. which I suppose is good considering if this picks up, we might see more of Ubisoft tv; not sure if I want rayman back on tv though, maybe A.C.Bionichute wrote:I watched the 3rd and 4th episode of Rabbids Invasion, and here's a shocker, they were not only good, but they introduced an actual, distinguishable character into it. It's a Rabbid with a red eye and a blue eye, who I think is supposed to be the Rabbid from the intro to RRR2, meaning that this might tie into the Rayman games. He acts like a general and constantly yells at the three Rabbids who follow him, but also does some stupid stuff too. He's actually kind of cute, and I'm glad to have a character that's an actual character
There was a clever build up to an elevator gag, and the Rabbids managed to make at least 4 people go insane.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
The team who made the CGI Legends trailer can make a Rayman TV series if they like, ***HINTHINTHINT***
I haven't been catching up on Rabbids Invasion as of late, there still hasn't been a date for when it airs in the UK yet (USUALLY new shows/seasons start in September but I guess they'll start showing it come the half term at the end of October). I'll probably have to watch them on Youtube before that even happens but I wouldn't mind re-watching episodes on Nick HD.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
This is a game I guess? Like usual, we have next to zero footage for a Rabbids game.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
It seems to be. If they do not show footage, then it is going to be a terrible game again.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
When I saw the moon, I thought it is Rabbids Go Home sequel and that it might be good. But this is smartphone game...

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I have a feeling this game will be Angry Birds clone.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
It appears to be some gimmicky game about flying with a jet pack and collecting coins.
Fun.
Fun.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Hm, I can't view the trailer at the moment, but judging by your reactions, it doesn't sound promising.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
There's a couple of screenshots floating around and an article on the gameplay. To be honest it doesn't look terrible but nothing more then just the next Rabbids game that will be forgotten a month after its release.Master wrote:Hm, I can't view the trailer at the moment, but judging by your reactions, it doesn't sound promising.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Who even pays for this anymore? :/
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Well there's one guy who claims he remembers playing Rabbids back when he was younger (2006, oh the ol' days) and thus will buy it. However he does proceed to reply to himself saying he's kidding, the game is stupid, but he likes it anyway.Drolpiraat wrote:Who even pays for this anymore? :/
There you go, the audience for the Raving Rabbids smartphone games.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Sounds like Rabbid porn.

I remember in one comment, one user said Sonic Unleashed is his childhood game he remembers and he said those were good daysKeane wrote:Well there's one guy who claims he remembers playing Rabbids back when he was younger (2006, oh the ol' days) and thus will buy it. At least I leart my lesson in 2010 with RRTIT, sadly. Rabbids are getting too milked. Stay with the comics, Ubi!Drolpiraat wrote:Who even pays for this anymore? :/

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I ditched the Rabbids after TV Party. I knew where the series was headed once it reached TV party, and I wasn't going to be a part of that. The rabbids are starting to become the call of duty of Ubisoft, I'm so glad they seperated the Rabbids and Rayman, the way it should be. I find the Rabbids to be truly uninteresting as a character themselves, since RRR TV party they've really lost the whole humor touch for me. As I've said I DID enjoy RRR1 and RRR2, but now the series is becoming a quick cash in.
Do you guys remember the first trailer for 'Rayman 4' being when the rabbids invade. Sure they still were... silly, but look at how much of a fucking threat they were. I think the rabbids silly style is very unappealing now, and I think it's a shame R4 got cancelled, because I think the rabbids could have made a good addition to the universe and a good villain, stupid, yes, but at the same time a great threat.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I agree with this. I'm not entirely bothered by their "merchandise the shit out of this" scheme as it, in itself isn't a bad thing since the company needs money and all that. The issue lies with the fact they've lost appeal to me, especially in the humour department; from what I remember from TV party it was either an over used joke from the previous games or just something generally unfunny.Rayfist wrote:I ditched the Rabbids after TV Party. As i've mentioned a few times here RRR was actually my first Rayman game, but the one thing besides that which stands out for me was the fact the Rabbids had stand-out characters to them which were either only briefly caught in RRR2 or scrapped entirely. Needless to say that was the one aspect I found disappointing in RRR2, but I at least put up with it as I felt the minigames where that tad bit better. Only word I could describe TV Party was "meh", it felt very tasteless and at not one point did I feel like I was having fun.
