Ah, the story of S2HD is a sad one indeed, particularly given the nature of the community that founded it, however, I think a like incidence here seems unlikely.

That's an extremely fucking cruel thing to do. I'd very much like to much that guy upside the face a few times.

Sonic fans cannot do anything together really and will always find a reason to start fight.

I must disagree, I know some Sonic fans can be despicable, but there are many who are as reasonable as anyone would be.

Sadly, I know only few and not many. Sorry, but I seen so many bad examples.

Oh fortunately in any fandom there will be always mature people. I do know some Sonic fans who respect quite well the franchise, and it's mostly people who are fans since the first Sonic games.

I know the majority act a little weird but let's take the example of the Rayman fandom. There may be some kids/teens who act in a ridiculous way, but let's remember that most of them know Rayman since Rayman Origins mostly, or even thanks to the Rabbids party games. And yet there are still people like you, me and the others who do enjoy the series in a proper way.

Finished Rayman Arena for the second time in my life some days ago with my little brother. We were both laughing at how ridiculously high the IA for Dark Rayman is, its like an actual player(or close to) and it was kind of annoying in Ice battles since he shoots so fast at you. At least its different from the pro leagues where the IAs kind of suck enough to catch up with them a lap forward or that you get 60 points more than them in battles.

IA? Do you mean "AI?" as in "Artificial Intelligence?"

When I played in the emulator, I found particularly hard the Kill Time challenge with Dark Rayman, but the difficulty could be minorized if the controling behaviour was equal to the GameCube controller.

Health Hack (cheat engine)
1. Start a battle
2. Type 5 in Cheat engine
3. Lose on LP(life-point)
4. Scan 4 in cheat engine using Next Scan
5. Repeat point 3.
6. Scan 3 in cheat engine using Next Scan
7. If needed, scan one more repeating point 5. and 6.(changing 3 to 2), if not... place these values in adress list
8. Freeze them and change to 10
Same goes with ammo - the ammount that shows up is your scan value

I am sorry ventord, but I do not understand meaning of this post. It is basically instruction of Health Hack, yet you still did not give us YouTube link despite reading my and Rulez's comment (your quote proves you did). This is basically code for YouTube (put numbers and letters from YouTube link between code):

Code: Select all

I hope this helps.

Hey guys,

A friend and I tried getting Arena to work using Hamachi, but it simply refuses.

When I put Hamachi at the top in the priority list of the windows network connections, the game refuses to create a server, returning the message 'server creation failed'. When I put it at the bottom of the list sometimes the game creates, sometimes it doesn't, but if it does my friend is not able to join.

Is there some other way to get this to work? The options listed 'xDSL or cable' as an option, but I have not found any direct IP connect in the game.

Someone please help, this game is too much fun!!

Not every game is compatible with Hamachi and I am assuming Rayman Arena is one of them.

It was at one point, I know Droolie managed to get it working years ago, but it's stopped working since.

OK thanks for the replies guys. I have tried Tunngle and Wippien but get the same 'server creation failed' message. When I remove all of those programs the game does create a lobby, but of course no one can join...

Do you have any idea if it is possible connecting via an external IP? The "xDSL or cable" option must be there for a reason...

I don't own Rayman Arena, so I'm afraid I can only repeat the findings of others, the best person to discuss this with is probably Drolpiraat.
