Re: Rayman 3
Hey, have any of you got a speed bug in Rayman 3 on PC? I went to play it on my laptop but rayman is moving kind of really fast and its hard to control. When I jump its like as if I had high gravity forcing him down in half a second. The cutscenes are working normally though. It didn't do this when I played the Beta demo.

Re: Rayman 3
Hm, no, it played perfectly on my laptop, any issues I currently have with it are due to my laptop's age.
Re: Rayman 3
My laptop is pretty recent considering I got it last June. I think its either caused by my graphic card being too powerful ( since it happened with some other games ) or because I have windows 8 that pretty much can't make a bunch of games work properly. I mean I can play the game, but its like 0.5 time faster than normal and its pretty annoying when I want to jump on something and just fall right at the side of it.
edit: whatever what the bug was, I somehow fixed it by re-installing the game.

Does anyone here not use a laptop as their primary system? I swear, RPC is like a laptop infestation.

If it makes you feel better, I'm using a MacBook Pro.
Re: Rayman 3
Me. I don't even have a laptop. Only my brother does.Adsolution wrote:Does anyone here not use a laptop as their primary system? I swear, RPC is like a laptop infestation.
Re: Rayman 3
Well a laptop cost less than a desktop and if you you aren't going to do big things then its better to get a laptop.Adsolution wrote:Does anyone here not use a laptop as their primary system? I swear, RPC is like a laptop infestation.

You are forgetting about me, I thought everyone knew I use a desktop computer as a primary system.Adsolution wrote:Does anyone here not use a laptop as their primary system? I swear, RPC is like a laptop infestation.

I don't like laptops much but I wouldn't survive vacation trips without them.

Re: Rayman 3
I've been using a laptop as my primary system for 2 years now and honestly I couldn't live without it anymore. I need it for university and to move around at home: sometimes I need to take it to a different place so I can connect my synthesizer to it or just so I can watch stuff in my comfy chair.
My new laptop even has a better graphics card than the desktop I used to have, so I honestly don't see any advantage in working with that desktop anymore. I don't really play any demanding games on PC either so I don't need a new desktop.

You are more of a 360 guy right?
Re: Rayman 3
Yep, I'm a console guy. I used to be a PC guy but there are a lot of great games you simply can't get on PC.OldClassicGamer wrote:You are more of a 360 guy right?
Re: Rayman 3
I know. I mostly use my PC for Emulation and video editing when recording YouTube videos.

Well to be honest, I use my PC for third party titles, for first party I stick with consoles. But PC clearly destroys everything with third party.Drolpiraat wrote:Yep, I'm a console guy. Actually, desktops are cheaper (when comparing hardware obviously). Not sure where you heard otherwise.ZeptoRay wrote:Well a laptop cost less than a desktop and if you you aren't going to do big things then its better to get a laptop.

For that money I threw out on my laptop I could afford a waaayy better system on a desktop.Adsolution wrote:Actually, desktops are cheaper (when comparing hardware obviously). Re: Rayman 3
We paid only 600$ for my laptop and what is on it would cost 1200$ on a desktop. My laptop have a better graphic card, free space and pretty much the whole performance as a whole than any desktop sold here. I guess its different depending where you live because they sell shitty desktops for crazy prices here.emshomar wrote:For that money I threw out on my laptop I could afford a waaayy better system on a desktop.Adsolution wrote:Actually, desktops are cheaper (when comparing hardware obviously).
