Nah, I doubt that since I just thought it was his index finger.

Attitude? that's being an asshole.OldClassicGamer wrote:That Sonic OVA is awesome, I mean Sonic finally express how much Tails is annoying, and he even shows middle finger. Now thats an attitude.
You probably just like it because it is japanese.

Regardless of his more jerky tendencies, I do think his cockiness and carefree nature is well presented in there.
That, and I love the South Island theme:

Quit being a prick, I enjoyed Sonic OVA as well, and every other Sonic animated series I usually hated.sergiomonty wrote:Attitude? that's being an asshole.OldClassicGamer wrote:That Sonic OVA is awesome, I mean Sonic finally express how much Tails is annoying, and he even shows middle finger. Re: Rayman Legends
I really wish the Sonic OVA became an actual series, as was intended. It had a great vibe to it. And it amuses me that Sonic's voice actor in it is Irish!
Though I really love the Japanese Sonic X. And we are getting a new Sonic cartoon, so hopefully that will be entertaining.
But back on the topic of Legends, I have a question.
You know that Beyond Gaming competition?
How do you actually get your score on the site to go up, within the Rayman Legends Showdown?
Because my score only went up the day after I entered, having completed the challenges from the previous day.
I have been playing the challenges since, as usual, and I have been performing pretty highly. But my score in the Beyond Gaming competition has not gone up the last two days, and I don't know why.

Re: Rayman Legends
Never watched the OVA, to be honest. I'm not into Sonic cartoons. I despised Sonic X. But saying that a character is cool just because he's a jerk to another character and uses the middle finger? How about some actual character development?
Re: Rayman Legends
Considering that it will be made by same people who produced crap known as MLP, I don't know what to expect.sonicbrawler182 wrote:I really wish the Sonic OVA became an actual series, as was intended. It had a great vibe to it. And it amuses me that Sonic's voice actor in it is Irish!

Re: Rayman Legends
If you want to see Sonic go through actual character development, watch the Japanese Sonic X (it's very different to the 4Kids dub. A lot of extra scenes, and darker themes. The 4Kids dub changed the dialogue to kid-ify the context of the show. Also, the Japanese Sonic X has a great soundtrack).
If you want to see him go through actual character development in-game, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic & the Secret Rings, and Sonic & the Black Night cover that, just to name a few.
And there was character development in the OVA. By the end of it, Sonic saw Metal Sonic as a brother of sorts, and his equal.
And then there are the comic books, but I don't read those.
Though Tails is by far the character that has developed the most in the games.
I don't want this topic to shift into a Sonic topic. If this discussion is to be continued, there is a Sonic topic in the Off Topic board.
So has anyone else played Rayman Legends on the Vita? My brother has it, and I'm giving it a go right now.

Re: Rayman Legends
I intend on getting the vita version of RL someday, I have not touched my Vita in a long time, I heard some features were taken away in the Vita version.

Re: Rayman Legends
The Vita version is missing the Invasion levels, but one of Ubisoft's Community Manager's assured us that they would be patched into the game for free soon enough. And you can only play two-players, and one player will have to control Murfy (except in Kung Foot and in boss fights). It does have five exclusive Murfy-centric levels though.
If you only plan to play single-player, I'd say the Vita version is the definitive version. I'd love to have Rayman Legends in my pocket, ready to play at any time.
Though I got the Wii U version as I plan to be able to play co-op with my friends, and I have already played co-op with my brother. Plus, I wanted to carry my data over from the Challenges App, and I don't often get to play my brother's Vita.
EDIT: So if anyone has ever wanted my opinion on Legends, Caddy's review of it pretty much sums up my opinions on it.

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh yeah... so the 5 exclusive levels didn't appear in the vita version, right? ._. that's... that's very unfair.
EDIT: lol, typed "versions" instead of "levels".

That's a punch in the gut for Vita owners then.

Re: Rayman Legends
As I just said, the Vita version is missing the Invasion levels right now, but they are being patched in later.
And there are 5 exclusive levels in the Vita version. They are a located within the "Murfy's Challenges" painting in the Main Gallery (said painting is not in the other versions, obviously). This is also where you unlock the two exclusive Vita costumes.

Re: Rayman Legends
Speaking of costumes, do you guys think Ubisoft will bring the other exclusive costumes to the other versions of game (minus the Mario and Luigi outfit of course).
