Unfortunately, emshomar is completely inept at making what is perceived by most to be a joke.

Another fellow Aspie? Spiral did make a good point that the series does seem to attract quite a few of us.
So you have aspergers to? Wow. Yeah series's like sonic and rayman have quite a few aspies in their community. Thankfully they don't bully people about it.

I'm asperger too! it seems so, I have showed one of my friend what Rayman is last month and she has asperger too and loved it, she also like sonic games.

Well, there's the odd conversation where it gets brought up, but not in a negative fashion, most of the time, it's just business as usual, which I like.

Blimey, Zepto, 1000th post already? I felt proud when I reached 10000 posts just over 2 years, but it seems you fellows are probably going to reach that milestone even quicker!

I think a poll should be created to prove once and for all that the majority of this community is autistic. Should I do the honours?

Yeah, Its a thing really. Aspies have different game tastes. For example I hate games like gta and minecraft but I love platformer games and rpgs like rayman, sonic, mario, final fantasy, grandia etc

If you wish.
I'm glad to have come across fellow aspies and the like though, particularly in this kind of environment, where I think we tend to be better at expressing ourselves.

Agreed. I'm Tons better at expressing myself on the internet than I am in real life. My social skills suck. Still, being an aspie is probably one contributing factor as to why people don't like me that much. It sucks.

Hm, I consider myself lucky in that regard, I was given therapy from the age of 4 till about the age of 11 to help me develop and deal with most of the problems I have, I can deal with social situations ok for the most part, though I still feel incredibly awkward, and I find it difficult to start conversations unless it's with people I have a close enough bond with.

Yeah. Well I had therapy as well and i'm ok with my social skills but not amazing. I can stumble sometimes. Also I get bullied a lot which sucks. Just yesterday someone called me a needlecock.

Not even two months and already at 1000. :P I give myself a year and half and i'm going to reach 10000, apparently I do over 19 posts per day now.

Yeah, people in real life don't seem to like me much but its the different on internet because people usually group where they have the same interest.

Meh, don't worry, my years from 11-15 were riddled with bullying and the like, though nowadays, I'm with more mature and adult peers, which means there's not really any bullying to be dealt with. Don't worry, you'll make it through.

Thanks. It's good that their are communitys on the internet like this that care. Its people like the people in this community that I would love to meet IRL (but I can't thanks to the fact that i live on the bottom of the world pretty much)

I have no idea when I reached my 1000th but considering my PPD of 50 back in the days I doubt it took a month, more like around 2 weeks.

Yes but here its a small community ( I say small because there is about only 40-70 people active ) so there is less of people posting and less of things to reply to. :) Also try to not double post, there is an edit button if you want to add something.
edit: Ironically, I almost double posted because I accidentally pressed twice on the post button.

Just as long as it isn't done purposely, or with a genuine reason, you're fine, just take care.
